Goddammit, I hate it when you get trapped by the hype machine. I keep hearing about her, I wasn’t all that interested and I let the tape sit for a few days, but I finally went ahead and checked it out because I was bored and everybody here was saying good things. An hour later, the entire disc has been deleted off of my computer and I’m right back where I started.
She’s going in a slightly different direction than you might expect, but that doesn’t make it good. There are no songs on this tape that I would want to listen to again.
I thought Azealia Banks did very well on the mixtape. Considering the fact that this is her first mixtape. So now I cant wait to hear her album now. I want to see what kinda of direction she’s going to take with it. Keep up the good work girl. Wish you much success in the future.
