The 2 songs that we’ve heard so far from F&L2 would be BY FAR the worst 2 songs on F&L1… I don’t think there’s any chance that it’s gonna be even close to the same quality. Honestly, at this point, I’m just hoping for at least ONE good song on the entire album. Not convinced, tho.

Guys, seriously, since when did the beats not matter? It’s ALWAYS been a 50/50 situation in hiphop, and the bottom line is that with the pop bullshit Lupe’s been on, he can’t make an overall good song to save his life. He’s gotten on one good beat in the last year, and we find out within hours that he stole it. And I’m never gonna listen to his lyrics if I don’t like the backdrop, because he’s frankly not that good. He’s not KRS-1, he never says anything you didn’t know already, he just rephrases obvious shit and takes way too long to make his point (Bitch Bad, Words I Never Said, etc).
