Joell Ortiz is in the land of the rising sun on tour with his Shady boss. And while everyone was preoccupied, he played Slaughterhouse and Eminem’s collaboration, “Throw That“.
Although it’s off the laptop, the track sounds promising. You can hear the full thing when Welcome to: OUR HOUSE drops August 28th.

Another disappointing song. Even though i try to force myself to like these songs I have to come to face the truth that these songs are garbage. These guys are just not interesting. Their subject matter and personality are not interesting to hip hop fans. Then you have these lame weirdos that call this real hip hop. Fuck outta here with that shit. I also think Royce da 5’9 is average at best. Royce is not lyrical at all and you people stay riding his dick calling him “real hip hop.” A real lyricist is lloyd banks on the 5 or better series first five mixtapes. They have nothing new to offer the fans. They have already said everything. This song does not fit them at all. The beat is horrible. The hook is annoying. Another bad attempt at making a commercially acceptable song. That Crooked I mixtape was better than anything I have heard from this album. All these forced singles have failed. You can’t fool the fans. You people have to stop saying this is real hip hop. Real hip hop is something creative. This is the problem with slaughterhouse. The music is generic as hell. Just because you have this so-called real hip hop image does not mean that the music will be good. These songs are not good. Point blank. This is a fact.

album leaked and i kind of agree with FrankieMonoply the shit is basic. dont get me wrong they have some tracks where the lyrics are crazzzy and some that are just really boring. and this is coming from a Slaughterhouse fan. i was looking forward to the mixtape more than the album to begin with and after listening to the album it just makes me want the mixtape so much more

I agree with everything @BlackShady had to say relating to the song. I hate to say this but even though the album may be finished they should push the album back and get in the studio and record an entire new album. (wishful dreaming). Drop the mixtape on 8/28 to make up for the album push back. (I still don’t understand how they are dropping an album on 8/28 plus planning to drop a mixtape when today is the 8/16 and the mixtape haven’t been released smh )Since “Hammerdance”, it really was disappointment after another. As a fan of Joe Budden and the group, hip hop/rap need for these guys to deliver a great album especially now that they are on a bigger stage as Shady Records.
