  1. Cruel Thing says:

The video actually makes the song a lot better, even though I liked it before

  2. 2stainz says:

The Video does make the song better after getting to digest the lyrics

  3. IamRealTalk says:

ROSS USES THE WORD BITCH IN EVERY SINGLE OF HIS SONGS AND I DONT SEE ANY PROBLEM WITH THAT

IM SICK OF LUPE FIASCO SNEAK DISSING RICK ROSS

AND LUPE HAS YET TO COLLAB WITH ROSS SMH

C’MON LUPE STOP BEING A FUCKBOY AND CALL ROSS OUT SO ROSS CAN END YOUR CAREER LIKE HE DID 50 AND JEEZY

  4. IamRealTalk says:

ROSS HIGHEST CHARTING SINGLE WAS “I LOVE MY BITCHES” SO I KNOW LUPE IS SNEAK DISSIN ROSS WITH THIS RECORD

  5. Phllp_Wnslw says:

IamRealTalk, sir……..remove Ross’ cock from your esophagus.

  6. Niyemortal says:

    This video is pretty smooth.

  7. Count says:

    I want my 5:28 back.

  8. JOSHUA AKIL HUGGINS says:

I THANK GOD FOR ARTIST LIKE LUPE FIASCO

  9. Boogity Woogity Nigga says:

Holy shit one month you niggas wont shut up about odd future then its lil b’s retarded ass now every other post yall got rickys chocolate salty balls spillin out of your mouths. issue kids foreal.

On topic. I think Lupe is good for hiphop but i just dont feel it. Before one of you idiots say that im a “ymcmb” groupie, I aint. And i can appreciate storytellers and artist with a message. I just dont like the new stuff. And i loved The Cool. Maybe Ill feel different after the album comes out.

  10. All Things Real says:

    Respect.

  11. @mrright516 says:

Salute to Lupe for addressing an epidemic..half these trolls r brain dead anyway, theyre not worth addressing further
in the name of HipHop support this brother and others speaking on reflection

  12. Mag says:

I don’t really agree with the message. I’ve never been one to put much stock in the influence of music or violent video games or w/e. It’s more about how you were raised/the environment you grow up in. I always knew better and I have been listening to this shit my whole life.

Sorry but this song and the video sucks.

  13. rahrahrah says:

music always has a message. it is impossible to be only entertainment. every message espouses an ideology and has social consequences.

  14. urrrr says:

thank u lupe..he seems to be the only rapper who care about hip hop.

  15. Doughboiii$ says:

@IamRealTalk you dumb af nigga Dhat Ross single was not his highest charting single that shit was horrible second Ross aint end Jeezy carrer dumb fuck jeezy never went no where wtf you talkin bout get ya facts right boy

  16. David says:

Cant tell me that imagery in the 2nd verse dont look like nicki and wayne(autotune)

  17. Armageddon says:

Lupe’s message is on point, but I can’t stand him anymore. The video’s got the right idea but so boring. Something about those quiet hi-hats going at like 3000bpm makes me yawn every time I hear this song, without fail

  18. veesky says:

I remember when the song 1st dropped, I didn’t care for it much…I got where he was going, but I just thought it was somewhat overstated with the message. The vid adds a nice element to the song, not great single material of course but cool nonetheless

  19. In Air says:

Here’s the thing. First off…the saddest thing about how dope Lupe is and the people that he tries to reach is that, the people that dig Lupe for his messages aren’t really the people that his music should be reaching. People that dont dig him should at least take from some of his messages. I mean he did use to rap about drugs too back in the day though.

…Ross is dope SOMETIMES and at times he gets repetitive. In most cases I can dig Ross and a little bit of his fuckery…its just when he says shits that’s waaaaaaay too ignorant (clearly for shock value) that makes me like him less and less.

  20. block mameli says:

@iamrealtalk..dawg i couldnt sit back while u was talkin all that shit like u overdosed on laxatives.., i aint kno bout jeezy dawg but i can assure u officer ricky ddnt even go close to wat 50 dd to him..get informed so u can standby wat u say. n i dnt see lupe sneeak dissin nobody.. hes just right cause hey let me break it down 4 u cause u obviously ddnt get it. hes sayin the word bitch nowadays is havi a negative effect on the youth n u shud b smart enough to understand wat i mean n also the fact that this is a future problem for our society..n im only 22

  21. STINKMEANER says:

damn, lupe killed it with the visuals. the song already had a great message, but the video really drives the point home. hip hop is selling its soul, artists are so desperate for a little bit of fame or money they are injecting themselves with fake asses and behaving like hooligans to project an image to sell to tweens and teenagers.

I even laughed at that bottle of “sugarwater”

seriously, our culture is so fucked up

  22. Kman says:

if he was talking about any rapper it was minaj and lil wayne, clearly seen in the video. dont know where you got ross from -.-. good song, setting ms. bees in the trap right…fucking hate her

  23. Jeezy says:

dont yall dare put rick ross and lupe fiasco in the same fucking sentence yall should kill yo self

what the fuck get the fuck outa hee with that bullshit

  24. myjestik says:

the video just made me like the song.

  25. ***CROMER BEATS*** says:

WOW this video is amazing. Bravo Lupe.

  26. justMe says:

The song’s not really that great but fuck it they only seem to be allowing one Lupe type voice in the industry so I’m supporting regardless.

  27. J says:

This is actual hip-hop. It was not made to sell records or promote a stereotype. This shit was made to send a POSITIVE message. The video gave the song more strength. I honestly believe this cd will go down as a great American rap album.

  28. TheCool says:

    1) I hope people (specially his fans) have realized, the beat is a trap-ish beat on purpose?

    2) I’m surprised at the negative reception to the video in some of these comments bruh… Since the first listen, I realized his flow, the beat and everything was on purpose, but I still didn’t really care for the track. Watching this video REALLY changed my view on the track. And I DID understand it already before. It’s just a well made video. I’m surprised. I usually don’t give 2 fucks about Lupe’s videos (or most other rappers videos), but this one was dope af. Dope cinematography, I like the “Acts” going on the in background.

    Dope ass video.

  29. Buggin Out! says:

    Locks Bad,
    Afro Good
Lupe better… chop that hair like wood!

  30. KALIFAZ says:

YALL MUST THINK LUPE WAKES UP AND SAYS ”IM GONNA PUT OUT SOME GARBAGE BULLSHIT”…Ha!

    hard vid

    NO ODIES MI OPINION.

  31. JReezy says:

^Lol too funny. Lupe really should get rid of that hairstyle. Video was dope and complimented the message of the song very well.

  32. Jazz says:

@Iamrealtalk U must be on something.Maybe brain dead. How you gonna say he is attacking anyone. This song is all about reality. The song is for intelligent and smart people.People who knows that this generation has been misguided by your favorite rapper.

  33. ayyeee says:

Dope video!! cant wait for F&L2.

  34. SpaceGhostBlacc says:

Lupe is overrated, that’s just my opinion, just because he’s a positive rapper don’t mean I have to like him

  35. Derrt says:

    I’M KILLING THESE BITCHES!!!

Dope video. But will BET/MTV play it?

  36. GOSHO MUZYQ says:

Gotta love Lupe for what he’s doing for the culture. Hiphop’s general (Nas) started a good trend with distant relatives and now life is good…watch how everything else follows suit…the common’s, lupe’s, kendrick’s, and ab-soul’s are beginning to shine. And now this guy Jaunee B.e. a new comer sound like a veteran. Y’all gotta check out this new rick ross X nas triple beam dreams freestyle ………its things like this that make me feel hiphop is still alive!

  37. NewWord says:

I don’t get why anyone would have anything negative to say about a positive video unless they themselves live in the negative and feel insulted.Well to all those people how about actually understanding where he is coming from with the song its not about Ross in anyway its about the message Ross puts out. No one has a problem with Ross though Man i like hes music but it really isn’t something children should be listening to but kids will find there ways and will live there lives off of the message they put out.

  38. Theloneus says:

Damn I just can tell this song went completely over you niggas’ heads. Smh. Now go watch some Worldstarhiphop to desensitize your minds from all the intelligence you all just received from this video.

  39. 74x74 says:

This kind of song / message has a place in today’s hip hop music landscape. Brings a bit of balance. BUT it was kinda extreme b/c he did pull out the coonery card tho, damn.

  40. FTW says:

This shit was so fucking dope.

If you a kind of uneducated and don’t have a point of reference to understand the video…

    remember….it’s not your fault.

    FTW

  41. sck says:

    @InAir
    co-sign

Also, I think the video was dope. I appreciate that it shows a story rather than just having the musician performing the damn song.
I like how he compares ratchet rappers to “black face,” however these rappers don’t think it’s humiliating and enjoy how incredibly wack and ratchet they are, they think it’s cool…

  42. frank says:

wow creative genius you could see he is highly educated

  43. abc123 says:

sounds more like he was dissing Webbie & trina’s “Bad bitch” song in the first verse … I DONT SEE A RICK ROSS DISS AT ALL

  44. deez says:

very meaningful song, just the wrong time to have released it..

  45. honda trx says:

Our Brand new trx breeding software package Work Even When You Take a nap!!.

  46. konshensThemc says:

    New Video “MissUnderstood” @Priest4prez ft. @KonshensTheMc & @UptownXO http://youtu.be/d5vscj-ggUg

  47. z7ra_Vv says:

It’s funny how nobody really points out the white guy(industry ppl) who is selling Hiphop out for some quick easy money

  48. Nickey Negrito says:

MAN THIS VIDEO AND TRACK IS HOT!

This is hip hop with SUBSTANCE CREATIVITY and this deserves to be in EXISTENCE

Great fucking job Lupe. The ending bought a tear to my eye.

  49. Nickey Negrito says:

I’m just now reading the comments, and i thought everybody would agree that the song and video is classic. But no, i still see the lost assholes. I’m going to call these lost cowards what they are. They really like the BULLSHIT the radio play everyday. If we had more Lupe’s, more Dead Prez, more Pac’s etc, then we would have more positivity in the industry.

But when you got majority of all deez Drake, Wayne, Nicki, Ross, Wiz etc following or imitating this bullshit, then you got a lot of negativity in the industry.

I hate people who can’t relate to real shit. If you dudes can’t change your perception, then honestly your better off dead. Now that’s as positive i can get on y’all dumbshit. Change your thinking for the better.

  50. SkidaRoc says:

^ Exactly, folks love the nonsense. They bask in it, and I appreciate Lu and Gil Green for bringing this video the masses even if they don’t pay attention to it.

  51. Nickey Negrito says:

    shout out to SkidaRoc

  52. robby mcloud says:

lupe numba 1 fnf up im bout to cut a deal and bring real music home

  53. Drock says:

Minaj and Lil Wayne, just minstrel clowns with fame. Too much black-face, I give em the gasface. Your ignorance is lame.
