i dont know anything about this dude, but the reality is, every aspiring musician should know right off the bat, no one in the industry is your friend and no one is doing you favors. hell, that applies to all of life, but especially the entertainment industry. entertainment is filled with snakes all desperate to be famous. they will cut any throat or rob anyone if it means they get to stay famous for a bit longer.

don’t ever expect michael jordan or kanye west to do you professional favors, these dudes are full of themselves and convinced that their success is more important than your success.

  2. dragon says:

nah man dont believe it. Wales lotus bomb sounded like wale wrote it himself .. this dudes just lookin for attention

  3. Marko-V says:

  5. Donn says:

    Sooooooooooooooooooo

You wrote hit records and didn’t copywrite your material or handle your paperwork. Whose fault is that? YOURS

No one’s crying for you. Next time handle your business correctly

  6. M.T says:

dude needs to get over it and move on. I mean this nigga is even complaining about doing adlibs on Kanye’s “To the World”. like really?

  7. flawda says:

He was paid right, then what are you complaining about you corny ass niccuh. The objective of a ghostwriter is you’re not suppose to be credited.

FYI ain’t nobody checking for no Roscoe Dash, you’re like T Pain, only good for hooks. lol

  9. Mag says:

I hope he at least got paid.

    @M.T.

Your comprehension is terrible. He’s pointing out that the ab-libs as proof of his involvement.

  10. Torrell says:

Go find a seat and quit looking for attention. Everyone gets theirs in due time

  11. recordpusher says:

you all don’t know any of the details.. so everything you type is an assumption.

  12. M.T says:

    @Mag
I understand what hes saying. My point was hes complaining like a bitch and he needs to get over it. his ad-libs were trivial and doesnt make a big impact on the song.

  13. mac DIESEL says:

I KNEW WALE WAS A SUCKA!!!! ‘OL LEECHN’ ASS NIGGA!!!!

    DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

  14. Siy@ says:

Thats hes whole career. but i bet you guys think he started the autotune trend (T-pain), or the sound, keys n horns hes using now (Daft Punk)

  15. Siy@ says:

    THIS!

  23. Acapella says:

    Two words: BLACK BALL.

  24. Lantern Core says:

“Yo, Don C. Think you could do a press release crediting me for “To The World”?

When you use Twitter as your outlet, it just discredits your claim

  25. Acapella says:

Real shit, didn’t Kia Shine try the same stunt a couple years back claiming that he wrote some of “Best I Ever Had”??? Fail.

  26. rongreezy says:

Reblogged this on The Music Business Revisionist and commented:
Uh oh…looks like there might be trouble in G.O.O.D. Music land? Well, at least in terms of Roscoe Dash contributing to Cruel Summer, as well as to Wale’s “Lotus Flower Bomb”. Dash’s comment at the end is the real icing on the cake. Kids, take notice and LEARN!

  27. IM730 says:

Ahaha what is it with niggas with names ending in Dash always bitching about someone from the Roc owing them something??? FOH if you wanted credit for it then you shoulda made sure that was part of the deal.

All these niggas claim that “all they are about is money” yet no one wants to take the time to do the paperwork to GET that money. Such dummys.

Him and Damon should start a label
    (Dash It Ain’t Right)

  28. LYOR COHEN says:

idk about this one… writting a hook doesnt mean you “wrote” a record.

  29. rahrahrah says:

Fuck this nigga! Post the Lupe track.

  30. Your Friendly Neighborhood Dopeman says:

    U MAD Roscoe?!?

  31. veesky says:

When will these people learn to stop airing such grievances through Twitter…that’s not the proper forum for those matters. If you’re really that bothered and you were wronged in some way, take it up with the people who can actually do something about it. This just makes everyone look bad

  32. Makile says:

Kanye is gonna put him in his place

  33. ... says:

I def feel like he called roscoe in to help wit ideas wit kanye
Cuz also the pride n joy Record they did for fat joe he was on the hook also
And in sure he wrote r kellys part of tht new song

  34. Uncut says:

If your on a song you deserve to be in the credits period, that’s the reason why its there. All that other talk people saying is stupid.

On another note, Roscoe Dash is making moves for real low key. He’s on alot of good projects that people ain’t know… even if it is just the hook, that’s the catchiest part of the song and what sells ringtones etc

  35. LYOR COHEN says:

    ELLIOT BACK IN THE GAME

  36. DJ Semtex's Prothsetic says:

    better recognize that ish

  37. DJ Semtex's Prothsetic says:

bro i can feel for this but at the same time, if ur getting upset about not being credited for a hook off of one rappers song u know u dont have much going on in ur own career

  38. LIQUORSTOREMAN says:

IF ROSCOE WAS REALLY ABOUT HIS BUSINESS, HE WOULDVE HOLLERED AT THOSE MEN AND THEIR BUSINESS TEAMS DIRECTLY INSTEAD OF TAKING IT TO TWITTER. HE LOOKS LIKE A LIL BATCH. JAMES FAUNTLEROY WROTE WAY MORE ON THE CRUEL SUMMER ALBUM, AND HE AINT GET HIS NAME IN THE FRONT OF THE KANYE INTERVIEW. YOU SOUND LIKE A LIL BATCH, ROSCOE. NOW U ABOUT TO FUCK UP FUTURE MONEY CUZ U TALK TOO MUCH. THE KEY TO GHOSTWRITING IS BEING A GHOST. TAKE THE MONEY AND RESOURCES, AND STFU. SMH. THIS IS WHY YOU WILL NEVER BE TRULY WEALTHY FOR LIFE,….JUST NIGGA RICH FOR THE MOMENT. STUPID.

  39. Loaded says:

kanye ain’t finna do shit. nigga is a sucka

  40. Your Friendly Neighborhood Dopeman says:

Update: Haaaa, Wale checked that nigga. Lmao. And he still need to clarify because he only wrote half of the hook. Miguel wrote the second half. You failing bruh.

  41. Mike says:

lil nigga should’ve checked his paperwork from the gate.

  42. Collar Cali says:

    I believe it…

  43. Marko V says:

Looking at the Number of responses on here I’d say Roscoe brought lawareness to a situation that might’ve been swept under the rug. Maybe he did talk to the powers that be bought his credits and dey paid him no mind. Now they have to deal wit it cuz he took it to twitter and caused a scene. Checkmate

  47. PREACH says:

kia shine did get paid for best i ever had and im pretty sure roscoe got paid for his doings hes just mad that no one else knows…. he clearly stated i wasnt credited

  48. A&R says:

Roscoe is not wrong for wanting credit for the work that he did on those records. He deserves that, regardless of how he expressed his disappointment. I’m sure he’s getting his check regardless of whether not his involvement was credited, but I understand why he wants his credit. Everyone wants to be acknowledged. Good business includes making sure that everyone gets the credit that they deserve.
