Didn’t The-Dream have a character called Nikki? Their trying to recreate artists, he’s dope, but I don’t make a distinction between him and Dream. He just uses ALOT of reverb

  8. King Chandler says:

Anybody saying dude is just another Dream is out of the loop when it comes to recognizing musical talent, The Dream is a songwriter with an extremely limited vocal range that couldn’t stay on key if it weren’t for studio technology, The Weeknd is a songwriter, producer, and a singer with a creativity level far beyond what most R&B artists are doing currently. Not taking anything away from The Dreams success, it’s well deserved, he’s a hard worker, but I honestly don’t see any comparison besides both of them have a similar falsetto, but Dream couldn’t hit half the notes The Weeknd can, I’m a true fan of R&B music, if your gonna compare the two of them, factor in all aspects of their music (I left out alot more differences because I didn’t want to write a novel), don’t take the simple minded route, both talented, but vocally The Weeknd is light years ahead.
