Maino seems like a good dude, and is always a fun interview, but it’s a wrap for him career wise. Nothing to be ashamed of. For a dude who came from the Smack DVD series, to have a few platinum singles is pretty impressive. However, his last album didn’t make any noise or produce a single hit, and no one really cares about this new supergroup of his.

Real street rappers especially one’s from New York don’t get love any more, I been down with Maino since his early mixtape days and he is a good artist but artists like him and the music they make ain’t what the kids wanna listen to. They wanna hear Small Sean Wiz Tyga Officer Ricky Drake Lil Wayne Nicki Wale Meek etc

  3. JustMyOpinion says:

I agree with both comments, I would even add Maino had lyrical potential, but when he did that T-Pain record its like everyone stopped taking him seriously. Fans don’t forgive quick, that’s part of the reason those rappers that jumped on the auto-tune wagon are struggling now. Just saying.

maino is a real dude, and unfortunately no one is going to really pay him no mind…until he has a quality drake feature…or maybe 2 chainz..and that is very sad..
