    @poetic assasin I agree with what you are saying, but Def Jam is the bad example. No ID did a dope job on Nas album, but that was by far the best work he put out in awhile. That Common album last year is a weed plate, same with the Big Sean records he did. The problem is almost all of these labels have the “WRONG” people in these positions of power. This Salaam move is a great move though, especially for Urban Music. I fully expect Nas to finish his last album on Def Jam and move back to Sony with this move, and that’s a positive thing.
