The early estimates are in. And according to HDD, Robyn’s seventh album, Unapologetic will clock in 239k in first week’s sales and reach the #1 spot on the Billboard charts.
Puts things in perspective of how much everyone rides her dick like shes the Queen and says she has a Rihanna Navy, but its more like…A PLATOON.

Not a hater, I actually dig her music and her style. Just think she’s another example of how doing the most doesn’t necessarily pay off. I’m afraid the machine is running her personal image into the ground and tricking her out all for decent sales.
Kendrick just makes his music without antics and he sold more than this.

First week sales is just a marketing gimmick and does not amount to anything, consistency and longevity is what counts and this is her 7th album and she still going strong.

Rihanna is the exception to the “low first week sales” category simply because she WILL go platinum. we’re not talking about Rick Ross here, we talking rihanna, so its inevitable she will move units. i think people dont initially rush out to buy her album when it first drops is because they have their fill from her singles. oversaturation can be a blessing or curse.
Rihanna is still gonna go platinum, her albums always do. She releases like 3-4 more singles and pushes the hell out of them after her albums drop, they become big hits, she stays on awards shows and all that other stuff. Her PR is crazy, she’s still successful. First week sales don’t always determine the overall success of the album, some albums build. K. Dot’s album will never go platinum, not anytime in the near future, it’ll go gold, but that’s it
U right tho her PR team is very much on their grind at all times and they deserve the majority of the credit for her success because we all know there are better singers than her.
