The fact that 2 chainz album was even nominated is hillarious to me. None of those artists should win in my opinion. K dot easily had the best hip hop album of the year.

I enjoyed Drake’s album but I truly feel Nas’ album will win as well. I think Nas’ “LIG” is truly musically beautiful & lyrically inspiring!

@DoinTooMuch Kendrick is not eligible the awards are for recordings released 10/1/11 to 9/30/12. He obviously would be nominated and would probably win.
Did YN say Frank Ocean is HipHop? Ok I know the genre and culture as a whole has expanded and crossed over but frank ocean sure isn’t HipHop. 2 Chainz getting a nod is a joke! Rick Ross was probably just a filler, everybody else deserves the nod and I believe drake will win it. K-Dot got it in the next one fo’sho, unless Kanye or someone of his status releases another incredible body of work.
It would be nice to Nas win but I wouldn’t be mad if Take Care took it home, that album was on replay for months… 2 Chainz & Rick Ross shouldn’t even be nominated. I think Drake will win, but I think Nas should win. If the voters remember this is grown man B.I. and not the Teen Choice Awards Nas should win, and The Roots don’t need a Grammy to validate anything “Undun” is heavy way beyond the commercialism of the Grammy’s.
