I truly believe that Ma$e can come back for the exact reasons you stated: 1) He is still a Beast on any feature, 2) He can write Billboard charting Hits still and, 3) He still has his fashion sense and a Great working relationship with the Current and older hip hop crews out there.

He can do it. The only think I will agree with is the thought that he will bail once things get hard. Other than that–from an artist perspective how could he NOT do well. We saw guys like Maxwell go on a hiatus and come back and blast off. It’s all about talent and character. Something that the game is missing.
Overall–if you can offer the Genre something that it’s missing, then you can have staying power.
