  1. veesky says:

What do these ALL of these wishes have to do with hip-hop, seriously? Gunning for Ciara tho, but let Chief Keef “cook”…alrighty

  2. Say It Ain't So says:

Elliott go and find a hobby

  3. John Dough says:

I totally agree about Chief Keef, his album had some bangers on there. It was disappointing compared to his mixtapes in terms of aggression but he had a lot more catchy hooks and melodies on the album. People hate for fun nowadays.

    Chief keef album>>>>>>>Juelz mixtape

  4. Scrilla(MTV's hottest MC's in the game, Jeezy in 1st place) says:

We all know Elliot wishes Ross’ would do Playgirl

  5. Papito says:

I really hope that Kanye West gets back with Jay-Z and drop another Watch the Throne album

  6. it’s clever how YN cleaned up BDot’s disrespectful view of Chief Keef. You see, YN’s a vet in the rap “journalism” thing and knows that young rappers become unhinged when the get a bad review and tough talking “journalists” get smacked the fuck up. Ask YN how it felt to be hiding in XXL’s offices wondering if that bad review was gonna get him some missing teeth. So, BDot, the next time your boss encourages you to give your “honest opinion” keep in mind young “gangsta” rappers are dumb and YN is smarter than you.

    Just saying…

  7. GreenBeitz says:

dude no offense but they left the criticism up to u at xxl………

  8. GreenBeitz says:

i dont think i know anyone who had bad expectations for either kendricks or nas’ album…

  9. Joe Schmo says:

How you going to say stop Molly rap and rappers been rapping about weed forever!!

  10. rahrahrah says:

    My top six wishes.
    1. No more calling my sisters and brothers niggas and bitches.
    2. No more glorification of drugs.
    3. No more glorification of violence.
    4. More cinematic storytelling.
    5. More talented artist who maintain their integrity.
    6. More music to set the Captives free.

I know. I’m living in a fantasy land right?

  11. Really Really trill says:

I agree with both the Ciara and Justin Timberlake wishes, however, what do they have to do with Hip hop? They’re Pop/R&B singers. Other than those, pretty dope wishes. Get Molly the f-ck outta here. Oh and one more thing. You’re wrong about Chief Keef, HE DOES NEED YOUNG CHOP because Chop is that PRECISELY WHY his songs are hits. Without him he will die, but they should just let him cook. Hatin’ on a young’n is never cool.

  12. London says:

Suit and tie fresh?that’s trash buddy.

  13. Showboat says:

I have to disagree with his number 3. He had it backwards. I had low expectations for people like 2 Chainz and Rick Ross and they STILL let me down.

When you are as great as Nas and Jay-z is, people expect every verse to be dope. Life is Good was the ish.

  14. GreenBeitz (WHITE THOUGHT) says:

this my last post ever on any type of hip hop website, maybe wshh, all im gonna say is hip hop has become ridiculously predictable, deceiving, and is full of dickriders. In addition to this shit, everybody gets all offended like lil girls, and instead of trying new shit most artists just copy whatever was made popular by another successful artist. All this shit has become so repetitive to me that its honestly become hard to even sit down and fully listen to a mixtape/album or even certain songs, when people start to actually get recognition because they deserve recognition amongst other things, I might be interested in hip hop, until then ill just wait a very long time for timeless music..

  15. Anelka says:

YN is a fuck boy for real, check out all them average records; 2Chainz, Rozay, Good music n Meek mill he mentioned b4 Kendric, Nas and TI.

YN stop being a dickrider and leave that to the peeps that have not been corrupted by the payola.

  16. Winston Churchill says:

    Yappin Nigga.

  17. Man says:

Unfairly Criticised how could you utter those words w/o mentioning the most Criticised hip hop artist ever Lil Wayne…like Ell said if you don’t like the music don’t listen to it to not everybody is a critic leave that to him get of Wayne dick and let him do him.

  18. Del says:

I agree with most of this video but….

YN, I wish you would stop acting like your word is bond… you said stop being a critic and leave it to you? But as consumers we can criticize all we want, after all it is our money being spent… also niggaz shouldn’t be sheep and let dudes like you tell us what to like

  19. 2 cents says:

Leave the criticism to a man who deems Ciara as HipHop an feel the need to hate on her? And yes I said hate. That’s the only explanation to what that was. I agree with say it ain’t so, find a new hobby Elliott, you’re 42 yrs old. Act like it.

  20. KAYANDGEE says:

that was funny and mostly onpoint, al though he shoulda cut ciara some slack, she aint that bad she just needs a better team around her lets say like rihanna and the hits will come.

  21. Graz says:

We need a Tony Yayo album!!!

  22. shamboogie says:

damn yn! no ciara , let chief keef cook. lol. let that girl try to do her thing.

    http://www.audiomack.com/song/shamgar/like-a-prayer

  23. ima critic says:

whack critics listen to whack rap

this guy doesnt know hip hop

  24. ima critic says:

    fuck this site

    its dumbing my music

there wasint one mainstream release that i could listen to

know one knows what hip hop is

learn flow beats dont even matter

    rappers arnt trying

hip hop needs the ultimate flow … no mistakes

  25. dre3000 says:

well, i like his 1st wish, his wish of no CiCi, but not his opinion on not bein a judge and leaving the critical analysis to him n others..
i dun think that’s possible, and people had expectations from 2 chainz, kendrick, nas, ross and all those artists and they were pretty high, yes, his album is decent, but.. its nothin new, even 2 chainz told that in an interview..and how many critics actually liked it? it wus one of lowest rated albums of 2012, the point, u cant say people like nas kendrick and praise those artists only, people like other music too, and 2 chainz went about platinum and gold in a year, not necessarily classic music, but he did well…
another point, people appreciate good music no matter who its from, but the message keef spreads isnt that great, he made good music n people liked it,example: ‘Don’t Like’, but his album wus awful, people dun necessarily hate him for a wack album but for what he represents, plus he’s got no respect for rappers, like Lupe Fiasco and 50 (the video shoot event)..okay he’s 17, and he’ll improve, but unless he doesn’t, people will continue hatin him, and u cannot blame em, good music is the only way to remove this hatred, take an example of Frank Ocean..
thirdly, rick ross 2 chainz albums were not obviously supposed to be classics, but they couldve been better.. meek mill, slaughterhouse, ross put out great mixtapes and that i think that’s where i could say people need to stop criticizing cuz albums cant be like mixtapes, they are meant to be commercial and so the sound and quality is affected, but, that does not mean they experiment, they need to stick to a formula, no attempts at cross genres, even rocky fell in that department of his debut, the only oen who didn’t wus kendrick, nuff said, same goes for Nas, one formula..

  26. freshsidenyc says:

leave the criticism to you? I’d rather lick the sweat off of Trinidad’s face after he pop a molly before I leave hip hop criticism to you!!

  27. B-More says:

I’m starting to think that B.Dot would probably do a better job with these videos. I’m really starting to think that YN has bought into the Chief Keef hype and isnt listening and that he is on the MMG payroll. Bro God Forgive and I don’t wasnt a good album. Rich Forever was a good mixtape, and God Forgives wasn’t even better than that. You can’t say Meek had a great album either if it isnt better then the dreamchaser mixtapes. Everything MMG puts out aint quality, but all I see on this site from YN says otherwise. True they put out a lot of good stuff, but that don’t make everything good.

Chief Keef, I’ve given his music a chance but I can honestly say that his stuff is trash. Saying a song “knocks” is like describing an ugly girl and saying ” she aint all that, but she cool as shit.” I don’t know if Intersope is sliding you a few bucks, but that aint it. As B.Dot said in his interview about his criticism, Chief Keef has ZERO quotables, since when can an artist be good and you cant quote one line. Fuck I cant even understand half the shit he saying. No way a 42 year old man should come out his mouth saying an artist that you cant understand talk is good.

Just my thoughts, but tell me what you think by hitting the subscribe button

  28. lostOnez says:

this is not a good episode of the truth. too much opinion

  29. The_Insider says:

Ol’ politically correct ass nigga. That’s only with Hip-Hop though ha? Why you go after a talented R&B female who is struggling to find a hit instead of 1 of the many trash ass, wack ass rappers that can’t spit? You scared to go against the machines? Probably, but it probably has more to do with the fact you judge what’s “acceptable” or worthy of cosign by what’s already hot. Stop standin in & stand out nigga.

  30. Kay says:

Who hates on a female that ain’t even hip-hop? This nigga. Smh

  31. Nathaniel says:

    best Truth yet.

  32. BlAzEENsane says:

go away ciara but let chief keef cook smh ciara not even a rapper Real Funk Master Flex move right there go after the female but scared of the dudes

I mean Chief Keef is tied to a murder rap that he glorified in his lead single and let that man cook but Ciara who not even in the genre need to leave

and the expectations kendrick album was expected to be good see when you take a listen to rap outside if that payola you takje note of new talent I mean if anything Kendrick had the most pressure on him 1 he wasnt an established artist(Ross) 2 his cd wasnt with a group of other established artist(Cruel Summer) 3 he signed to Dre(Snoop,Em,50,Game) (compare those guys numbers and acclaim to kanye and ross’s guys) and 4 this nigga took the lead to rep a coast that is re-emerging and got all the cosigns from the greats even the pathon passed from him on stage by snoop you realize he came on right after tupac hologram to me thas more pressure than doing a song and video that has nothing to do with him(Meek)

  33. chillthrill says:

this guy is real go with the flowish,,,,,,whatever cooks huh?,,,i hear that

  34. d'evill says:

i really agree with you on these YN.

    Happy birthday!!

  35. michelle michelle says:

The more successful you are, the more hate comes your way. RR, you must be doing something right.

  36. MR. UNDI$PUTED THE MOGUL says:

I TOTALLY AGREE MICHELLE MICHELLE, EVERYDAY THE SAME GROUP OF HATING ASS IDIOTS DISS THIS WEBSITE & THE CREATOR. ILLUMINATI, SECRET SOCIETY OR JUST OUTRIGHT JEALOUSY ETC. FOH!!!!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YN!!!!!

    PEACE & GET MONEY!!!
    MOGUL $$$ GAME ’13!!!!

  37. Da Truthhhhh says:

chief keef ,2 chains , trinidad all them niggas are trash, what they be saying in their raps? the south fucked the game up with the trash. The south will all ways be known for 95% of rappers who have a 5 grade skill level when it comes to rap skills, and the most of the south use to suck 2 pac’s dick during the so called east and west coast dramas in the 90′s.

  38. Ah, it’s YN’s b-day , let him wish for whatever he wants
I don’t get the Ciara hit tho. Where did that come from?

    Happy B-Day YN

Good work on recognizing that critics, like B. Dot, who cry about “hip hop was real in the 90′s” forget that dudes who grew up in the 80′s thought that Hip Hop had become too violent in the 90′s. Gotta listen with an open ear & maintain the wide-eye idealistic views on new music that you had as a youth. Not be all impetuous like crabby old B. DOT

    @p0is0nedkoola
    Lester Bangs of hip hop
YN hit that Jackie Robinson #

  39. half you niggas aint even tried a molly

  40. charleshamilton says:

when this old fart said “let that boy cook” i cringed , this nga got no swag or charisma stay away from the camera and stick to the written word

  41. DJ Semtex's Prothsetic says:

    Let that boy cook! haha

  42. FUCK YN says:

ANYBODY ELSE NOTICE THAT HE USED CHIEF KEEF TO DISS CIARA (EASY TARGET IF U ASK ME) THEN TOLD US TO LET CHIEF KEEF “COOK”?

    ELLIOTT IS FUCKING DICK LICKER.

  43. JReezy says:

Interesting. I wasn’t aware people liked Kendrick Lamar and Nas’s albums more because they had lower expectations of them. I figured it was because those two lived up to the high expectations that they themselves had a part in creating.

  44. realness says:

you 42 years old YN (yellow nigga) your credibility on criticizing an album is becoming less about you and more about the industry, and i hope you see this because your opinion has become opinionless like the rest of ignorant industrialized rap, leave the criticizing to new young enthusiasts that know the ins and outs of this culture, the 4 albums you named were disappointments in hip hop, period whether anticipated or not, kendrick, and nas was highly anticipated and met expectations for fans. AND THATS THE TRUTH.

  45. thecool says:

Y u went after Ciara doe. She clearly is hurting but u aint helping. U wack af
