Awards have already been given out for the 55th annual Grammys. So far, the Throne has accumulated two awards and Drake takes “Best Rap Album”. See the rest of the winners after the jump.

Sorry, but Nas should have won all four awards! How in the hell do you give Niggas in paris anything? These mainstream shows just give anything away to Jay because of his name, but clearly Nas has a far better body of work. He should have won for his collabo with Amy Winehouse alone. Props to Drake, he deserved the award. Nas is a legend and doesn’t need validation from the Grammys. I thought “Cherry Wine” gave me him a slight edge tho.

Nas don’t win Grammys anyway so why is everybody surprised, the criteria for rap is the album has to be good and went platinum not just good, Drake had best album in terms of everything the Grammys are looking for now, he ahad a dope album that sold well on top of that, you niggas are so tight that Drake, for 2013 at least is on top of the rap game, give that man his credit damn, Drake had a bigger impact than Nas did, I loved life is good but Nas screwed himself when he didn’t take it the to the next like Jay-Z did, Nas is a legend but yall naysayers need to keep it 100 with yourselves Drake had the the most successful hip-hop tour of 2012 with some of the biggest names in hiphop opening up for HIM including Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole among others, sales plus dope album = grammy as far as hiphop goes.
