  3. NCtoCA says:

    Jcole! Is that a metronome in the background? Shits raw, and i definately can agree with the feeling the song has. Good job!

  4. STINKMEANER says:

    ^^ didn’t drake’s new song release over a week ago? Tons of artists release on the same exact day, you’re mad because two rappers released two songs two weeks apart?

  5. Black Shady says:

    Who cares about what you guys say? At the end of the day…Cole gonna drop a better project.

  6. the brain trust says:

    lol you Drake stans have an unhealthy crush on Cole.

    Dude dropped a great single. Let that nigga live.

  7. Anonymous says:

    DRAKE >>>>> J.COAL

    HA !

  8. I shoot like ROBERT HORRY says:

    @Black Shady I STRONGLY DISAGREE

    J.Cole is suffering from the Nas syndrome…..Personally he will not drop anything that’s close to FNL or better

    FNL should of been his debut album

  9. priime dawg says:

    @I shoot Robert Horry

    FNL aint even his best work. listen to the Warm Up

  10. bumpy johnson says:

    agreed , great song , the emotions he and miguel tried to invoke is there ….

  11. Carlosthe5TH says:

    J Cole is Lame. This nigga is a lamer version of Nas. This nigga had the nerve to say “rap sleepily.” Nigga all your music puts me to sleep. You do not have special talent. You are a boring rapper that recycles old music tha has been done before. And people say its deep. This nigga is not lyrical at all. Drake is lyrical and talented. Kendrick Lamar ir lyrical and talented. Lil Wayne is lyrical and talented. Andre 3000 is lyrical and talented.

    J.Cole is boring and so “sleepily.” if thats even a word

  12. STINKMEANER says:

    ^ this dude just said wayne is lyrical. you are disqualified from life.

  13. Carlosthe5TH says:

    @stinkmeaner

    ummm ok.

  14. Mo says:

    @prime dawg

    I agree The Warm Up is a classic. That’s my favorite mixtape of all time.

  15. Black Shady says:

    @ I Shoot ; i get ur point..pretty valid, but i feel like Cole can give us another FNL…which was supposed to be his debut album by the way…

  16. Jon B says:

    That song is powerful

  17. ilexx says:

    @CarlosThe5th

    Did you hear Green Ranger? Cole outshined Wayne on his own shit…

    Plus if u think Cole is so boring, why did you bother checking for this post then?

    Niggaz are confused or something, if you don’t like somebody or their music you don’t check for it, you just leave it alone. Especially cause this isn’t even a song or anything, its him talking about his song and then you come on here and spew hate?

    Ppl are so over that.. Haters really are the new fanatics.

    I fuck with power trip… It sounds good. End of story.

  18. @Carlosthe1324135th says:

    Damn bro. You are saying Wayne is lyrical? Again with your biased, unreasonable, and purely pedestrian arguments. Go listen to French Montana for entertainment if that is what you want.

  19. stuart scotts eye says:

    Cole World

  20. NIGGAWHAT!! says:

    Wayne is lyrical….now is he lyrical now NO but wayne proved his self to be a beast with the C1 and C2…what does weezy have that cole doesnt is that IT factor. no matter what rap u flow with u gotta have an IT factor. Drake gay self has it, Kendrick got it, Nas got it Ye and Jay got it and even Wiz and MGK wack asses got that IT factor. Cole doesnt have it PERIOD! if Cole and Kendrick were standing on the block spitting viciously who do u think people would gravitate torwards…..KENDRICK would get the greenlight Cole is boring is demeanor and look are just boring and dont tell me cuz he aint got tatts and a funny ass haircut the nigga is just boring.

  21. @NIGGAWHO says:

    ^name the “It” factor and your misspelled, inarticulate and non-sensical argument could make sense. Maybe you are not the demographic J. Cole is targeting, in which case, it is not his fault but rather yours for not being able to tune into his wavelength/cognitive ability.

  22. YunG based god says:

    cole is mad overrated son. i agree that his music is boring. outdated too

  23. honestly says:

    Cole World…. Singles dope…. yall got to much free time the songs undeniably dope. its sad cuz alot of cole haters is drake stans and they both make great music. be a fan not a stan guys. being a yes man turns your favorite artist into a wreck. just look at weezy

  24. BBGUN says:

    There’s no hope for the youth, ain’t that the truth.
    Cole rhyming way over these young boys heads.

  25. COLE WORLD says:

    DOPE ASS SONG! And wtf is up with you lame niggas talking about “it” factor and demeanor? Are you a goddamn a&r? Listen the music, fuck nigga. What kind of nigga worried about another nigga demeanor? Good music is good music.

  26. ghetto runNer says:

    he is trash.

  27. HELLNAH says:

    Like I said before u dumbass niggas cant read…Im gonna name some dope emcees that had the it factor starting with Kendrick Lamar, Pac, Biggie, hell T.I Drake is gay but people gravitate torwards him, Nas, Jay Z, Ice Cube, shit Outkast, Bone Thugs. all those mothafuckas are lyrically dope, nice sick , ill however u put it but what is the one thing they got in common the IT FACTOR dumb niggas Jay Cole is aligned with Jay Z and Kendrick Lamar is aligned with Dr Dre which means he is on the same playing field right? so why is one winning more than the other if he’s just as nice with the same fucking connects hhhh mmmm I will wait for it. BECAUSE KENDRICK LAMAR has IT the IT cant be described or created u dumb fucks. Even Nicki Minaj before her fake ass days had the IT FACTOR in her bootleg dvds. U niggas cant save Cole yea hes super nice with the stories and word play but why is he losing against his counterparts? and on top of that the nigga is lightskinned and educated COME ON

  28. M.T says:

    Alot of u RR niggas make me laugh. by “it factor” im guessing thats referring to some type of gimmick. fuck outta here with that. Single was dope. Cant wait for Born Sinner.

  29. Honestly says:

    It factor = gimmick

    Keep that shit at ymcmb
    Wayne fell off get the fuck over it.
    Way off
    Niggas want gimmicks to entertain them cuz the world full of lazy listeners who need distractions

    That demographic is shrinking now that lyrics are comin back into the subject

    Gimmicks always die off.

  30. STINKMEANER says:

    seriously, these corny dudes think they are A&R executives. no dummies, you are customers. get real, you don’t know how to sell shit, all you know is how to buy shit.

    keep consuming you customers. i’m sure you are all pros.

  31. Carlosthe5TH says:

    That nigga Canibus had the IT factor. I know canibus has released some awful songs and albums, but canibus also created some beautifully lyrically crafted songs that were strengthenned by his persona and presence. Plese listen to Canibus “channel zero” and “how come” and “poet laurette 2”

    J cole is just not interesting. who would actually sit and listen to j cole music.

  32. K says:

    ^ this dude just said wayne is lyrical. you are disqualified from life.

    had me laughing

  33. FirBeg@rapfrom says:

    he is trashhhhhh

  34. @Carlosthe1324135th says:

    The “IT” factors. These brothas are talking about the “IT” factor when they can barely spell right. At the end of the day, those who are not fond of J. Cole’s music will not be fond of it no matter what. They are simply not the demographic Cole targets. I validate my point with the following misspelled and irrational quote from someone above “and on top of that the nigga is lightskinned and educated COME ON”. <-Perhaps the reason why he doesn't appeal to you; wouldn't surprise me if you are reading at a 6th grade level.

  35. Frontrunner says:

    Banger. I like how them VA niggas make them Prince beats.

  36. King Game THE HURRICANE says:

    Why yall always talking about, drake on a Cole posts? Fuckin trolls Cole doin his thing stop HATIN…@BLKSHADY AGREE

  37. NY KIdd says:

    @KingGame ^ yessir

  38. Luminous Story says:

    Define this “IT” factor… Don’t give me a list of artists that have it because it doesn’t define it. If you can’t properly define it, then your opinion is invalid because even you don’t know what you are talking about.

    Cole had a solid debut with 217k sold and not too much promotion. He doesn’t jump on as many other features so less people know him. He also doesn’t have too many features. At the end of day he can say her murdered Kanye, B.o.B, Jay-Z, etc. on their own songs and is making great music. Drake doesn’t have any project that amounts to FNL or The Warm Up while Kendrick doesn’t have the classic songs like Lights Please, Killers, Losing My Balance, etc… You guys are just mad that J. Cole is dropping amazing songs at a rate that he wants to, which is once in a while.

    Power Trip is dope and is perfect for those who have had these feelings, which are numerous amounts of people. Now all he needs to do is drop Born Sinner and hopefully he’ll have some nice songs… Still waiting for that Cole/Kendrick project though.

    Everyone should enjoy their fav artists and not hate so much…

  39. I always got 5 says:

    Carlosthe5TH you’re a fucking moron.

  40. SociallyConscious says:

    Lazy listeners hate J. Cole, period. Things go way over their heads. Like I’m amazed Miss America ain’t do well. Get Free too. So much conspirituality in those tracks it’s not even funny. Rap listeners have changed and they can’t stand artists like Cole who tailor his lyrics to the beats, a very old school method, instead of having their beats drown out the music. People singing how they want Tupac type conscious rap but when someone does, he boring? You people looking for a “it” factor want those gimmicks. J. Cole don’t have any and I hope he keeps it that way. Yall need to listen to the words in people lyrics.
