His producer and videographer is quoted in the Boston Herald today (and I’m paraphrasing) comparing him and his associates brand of rap to the WWE saying it’s not real, rappers are just playing roles and entertaining. So when the fuck did that happen? There’s always been paradody rappers but it was very clear they were that. Fronting was a sin and you’d be called out very quickly now what its par for the course? This false gangsta shit is reaching a tipping point. What hip-hop needs is more gatekeepers and less tolltakers.
