  2. Obama says:

Rap Radar Why the fuck would Rap Radar think this shit is worth posting…

  3. @Obama says:

Apparently you don’t understand the magnitude of an artist (let alone an African American artist) being invited to one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the world. Rap is a cultural movement and if one of its artists is taking it to important places, it is worth posting and taking note of.

  10. D Twice says:

Successful black students and a rapper having a casual conversation at Harvard. Now thats what hip hop should be about. This is nothing short of LEGENDARY!

  11. Marko-V says:

This right here is planting the seeds of future careers beyond Hip-Hop. More rappers and producers are being invited by these institutions of higher learning to simply tell their story and analyze the many lessons found in rap. Soon rappers will become great public speakers, nobel prized writers and even national ambassadors to extend their careers in front of an audience. Salute J.Cole for this humble beginning.

Its a good look to see hip hop being embraced by an ivy league school like this.

I am also glad that they are finally starting to flex J Cole’s college connection… Dude has a bachelor’s degree and still pursued his dream… And most importantly, he made it. That’s something the younger generation of minorities need to see. It doesn’t have to be a either or situation, its up to you to decide what you want to do and how you want to do it. Props to J Cole for making moves like this.
