Yea true it’s jus messesd up if u look at his career and nas career honesty at one point az was better but honestly az only has two good albums do or die and peices of a man hopefully do or die 2 will be real good and hopefully az and nas do a collab album soon

ok, on life’s a bitch az finds a really nice pocket and flows spectacular, lyrically he is exceptional too, it’s almost perfect. nas plays with the beat a bit more and jumps in and out of pocket. lyrically they are on two different levels, even though az’s lyrics are incredible and very meaningful, they don’t have the dexterity and the layers that nas exhibits. it’s kind of like when jay z and scarface get on a track, jayz lyrics are usually better but scarfaces always seem more meaningful. i’ll give you this one on this track az was as good as nas.
on mo money mo murda nas was just plain better. but these are songs where it didnt matter who was better, these are classics to zone out to, not get nerdy with and compare, if you’re doing that with songs like these you lost as a listener from the start. but having said that, az was ill on both records.
