He claims he is an artist.. Not a rapper.. How well did that work for cudi? Whatever dudes a lame as is the whole youth movement.. Trust me.. If it happened to Lloyd Banks and Young Buck and 50 it will happen to this generations artists.. They will go the way of selling 84,000 their first week.. Oh wait.. You mean thats what these artists generally sell in their first week?
Shit at least when I was a rap head(i cant be anymore the music is mainly a plague.. respect to schoolboy q and the TDE as a whole and Freddie Gangsta Gibbs.. THe rest is boring as shit) Our artists sold 1,000,000 copies of their album.. Not 4 million copies of their gay ass radio single(ahem macklemore) I think its that there is very little substance in rap anymore and the ALBUM sales reflect that shit. When you can sell 1,000,000 of one song and your album barely pushes 200,000 copies in a year thats sad as fuck.
Seriously.. Tyga YMCMB Mackle.. none of those fucks put out an album that is worth a whole listen and the way that they only sell SINGLES is very telling of that.(drake puts out listenable albums.. at least the second one)
