  1. O block says:

I don’t like dream as an artist. I like him when kanye uses him sparingly on songs i.e. watch the throne, cruel summer as an additional voice

  2. koa29 says:

98% of the people who listened to this fast forwarded to HOV’s verse. Fact.

  3. 7thEmerson says:

saw the track and was stoked. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with both on this one. Seems like a throwaway song completely as both are capable of so much more.

  4. The Fuck says:

OHHH MAN!!! YOU’RE GETTING BORING WITH YOUR TRIANGLE SHIT!!! TRY SOMETHING NEW!!! WE KNOW YOU’RE USING THIS ILLUMINATI BS JUST FOR PROMO, JUST TO STAY IN ERRRBODYS MOUTH LIKE PENISES!!! YOU AIN’T NO ILLUMINATUS, YOU’RE GAAAY NIGGERRR!!!

  5. The Facade says:

Jays verse was pretty cool but the rest of the song (production included) seems pretty recycled

  6. ZoomZoomDad-Otis says:

It feels like Jeezy should be on the track. But the beat is nice.

  7. quese says:

Actually no church n da wild was the first u guys gotta do your research man

  8. B says:

shit is weak as fuck. hov your verse was nice, actually the only nice thing about this song, but you should be ashamed to co-sign this bullshit. #disappointing. hov dont let ‘the self-proclaimed dream’ get credibility off the brand you built. hopefully, hov charged the fuck outta him

  9. michelle michelle says:

The Dream should stick to writing, Jay’s verse is cool tho

  10. Dashing says:

Yeah, this isn’t their first collaboration, unless you specify on a track by The Dream. Cause “No Church in the Wild” and that “Shiny Suit Theory” with Jay Elect.

  11. B.Dot says:

    ^
Yeah, but that don’t REALLY count.

  12. @worldfamous_kev says:

Sounds like just about everything else on the radio, but it’s not bad

  13. Emass says:

    Haters gon Hate! Dope!!

  14. LikeJordan45 says:

I’m a big Dream fan and this is trash, same applies to Hov on both accounts. I had higher expectations also.

  15. End says:

lmao @ “that don’t REALLY count”

    Why, because you were wrong?

    1. B.Dot says:

No, because those were background vocals. Not a full fledged feature

  16. It's the roc says:

    This was underwhelming

  17. End says:

    Not on Shiny Suit Theory.

  18. MotaHipHop says:

    Not REALLY FEELING THIS!!!!

  19. […] his raunchy IV Play album for a group of writers in NYC last month that included the track “High Art,” but unfortunately it was without Jay-Z’s verse, which you can now hear in the full […]

  20. Chris says:

Kinda just “there” isn’t it. Can’t co-sign those that are saying it’s wack, however,my expectations were high and they failed to deliver.

  21. Frankie Vado says:

And no one else thinks Hov is rapping EXACTLY like 2 chainz???

  22. the brain trust says:

We listening to the same song? Great production (with an intriguing breakdown towards the tail end), infectious hook, fun/light hearted concept.

The only thing underwhelming was Jay’s verse.

Iono, this is really dope to me.

  23. Donn says:

Why Jay sound like 2 Chainz???

  24. Push For Life says:

This is proof I can’t get into the Dream he has my fav rapper on the track, and I still don’t like it

  25. Leanin' says:

Thats NOT 2Chainz Flow! If u Really did ur Homework u would know that’s PIMP-C’s FLOW! Get it Right! R.I.PimpC

  26. COOL.. says:

THEM NIGGAS RICH, REAL HIPHOP>>> http://youtu.be/N7blWPL-WYo

  27. B says:

    @ the brain trust

to each is own my man. at least you stepped up though all the negative comments and said you liked it. respectable. way to keep it 100

  28. Chronic says:

Wow, I like some of the dreams songs but this was horrible. And jays verse was kinda mediocre.

  29. realtalk82 says:

Yeah im not feeling this at all. Jay-Z is so boring these days I still think his best verse lately was Bitch dont kill my Vibe remix and Dreams best record was Dope Bitch. IV play was okay but this here is just not good music IMO. I like both these artist and have for years, I just was expecting better quality records.

  30. Roger Kamien says:

Dream really used that Chicago drill rap flow in his verse

  31. asmodeus ashmadi says:

Hov did this song no justice im disappointed in both these niggas. And why if niggas don’t smoke sniff or pop pills they think its cool to act like it dam! SMFH! I agree with@realtalk82.

  32. Nickey Black says:

    I can’t front. I don’t like this song.

    I really expected more.

    especially featuring Jayz

  33. The Wise says:

I was a lil iffy about dreams newer music but this shitss is purrre doppppe!! An hov actually came wit a flow i can listen too

  34. […] his raunchy IV Play album for a group of writers in NYC last month that included the track “High Art,” but unfortunately it was without Jay-Z’s verse, which you can now hear in the full […]

  35. JD says:

All this recent stuff is just not goat material.

  36. brza says:

jay on another record with autotune?

  37. Cemal says:

Errrrrbody GTFOH.. This is fucking fire.
I GET MAKE LOVE TO MY GIRL I GET HIGH WITH MY NIGGAS

  38. philly'sbestkept secret says:

i guess if u keep shooting u might hit something but this is a miss jay z verse same boring as convesation dream and auto tune so innovative. I can believe these companies keep investing in these artist give it up its over. If u like this its because u haven’t had a taste of some good shit since the 90’s.

  39. […] his raunchy IV Play album for a group of writers in NYC last month that included the track “High Art,” but unfortunately it was without Jay-Z’s verse, which you can now hear in the full […]

  40. Enzo says:

It’s so catchy. I can’t stop hitting the replay button lol

  41. Chris says:

Wow The Dream jock Paris Jones and High Art more!

  42. GAME says:

how can i critque jay z without sounding bitter? Jay is my all time favorite BUT either hip hop don’t hit me like it used to or jay’s lyrics are extremely bland. (Didn’t even listen to the Dream at all…I fast forwarded straight to Hov)

  43. David says:

I like it. The-Dream is a studio nerd with an ear for infectious hooks. Like it or not, you’ll catch that chorus ringing in your ears afterwards.

Song-writing-wise, it’s not his best work. And no, his voice is not impressive (he actually needs that auto-tune). Hov’s verse was weak. But it’s good drive-around-the-city music.

I do hope the rest of IV Play has more engaging tracks than this one.

  44. CORY says:

this beat needs a chord progression; it lacks emotion. the drums sound dope, the synths sound dope, but they’re just playing lame ass riffs. WHERE THE CHORDS AT???

and idk dream’s 2nd verse kiiiiiiinda reminded me of future…..so did the “turn up!” adlibs in the chorus

jay-z forgot how to create a genuine and original flow. most all the rhythms in his verse were reminiscent of chief keef, rick ross, 2 chainz, etc.

  45. Wo says:

Hovs my favorite rapper and I ain’t hear nothing catchy from the bull since shiny suit theory …. You listen to shit from bull and be like nigga you think this is acceptable !!!

  46. LIMB0 says:

a song for the lames. shawty this is shiit (dream voice)

  47. J Whistles says:

Strip club music? I could see getting a lap dance to this. Other than that its not good.

And i hope the triangle shit stands for something im not aware of and not another Illuminati reference. Your Jay-Z, you dont need a gimmick, people know who you are. Give the triangle shit a rest.
