“where was juicy J from 2006-2012”

Winning Academy Awards, starring in his own show on MTV, then reinventing himself as a solo artist and setting the hood on fire with Rubberband Business 1 & 2 and Blue Dream and Lean, then going gold with Bands A Make Her Dance. Where the fuck u been?

  7. MemphisT says:

Juicy J (along with DJ Paul) are the first (I repeat) the first African American Hip-Hop group to win an Academy Award. An Oscar my dude.

That alone separates him from EVERYBODY in rap sans Eminem (who won for 8 Mile)

Plus, Juicy has sold 10-15 million records, he a discography for days AND is still going.

Signing to a younger artist (and getting a cut of the label) and still releasing music is smart. If some other rappers would be a little more open minded they would still be in the game right now. But *Kanye shrugs*

  8. A$VP J-MAC says:
