With Danny Brown’s debut album “Old” coming out soon, the good folks across the pond at Tim Westwood’s BBC Radio 1 thought it would be a good idea to premiere the final version of “Kush Coma” featuring A$AP Rocky. And the track doesn’t disappoint, with a hypnotic, spacey and head-nodding beat that dominates throughout, while Danny and A$AP act as a new millennium version of Method Mad and Redman singiing the praises of the sticky icky. A good start for Danny on his continued road towards finding that balance between underground cult status and mainstream, music festival rap stardom.
