The reason why these rappers are starting to targeted, is due to their lack of putting music for the hood. You rap about the chicks, the money, the trips to Paris, but you have to stay connected to the hood. Or you’ll be paying about 20 to 35% of your income on security, at least for a decent security detail. Gotta stay with the hood!

You cant stay with the hood because with success comes natural growth. He can give back to programs in the hood, but he cant rep the hood anymore because he doesn’t speak their language anymore. Like you said money and trips to Paris…people in the hood can barely buy necessities. 2Chains’s priorities differ from those in the hood, therefore they are both living two different lives. Michael Vick is a perfect example about staying within the hood circle.
