Behind The Scenes: Pusha T x Rick Ross “Hold On”

Listen Up.

Down in Hollywood, Florida, Pusha and Rozay recently filmed their next video. MTV was on hand to capture the production. Pusha explains the concept.

“The concept of ‘Hold On’ is me and Ross performing in front of some neighborhood guys, lecturing and basically telling the people of the neighborhood — our peers, essentially — that we’re here for them and we’re doing this for them”

I know some people are gonna get on Kanye for his auto tune on this song, but this one is becoming one of my favorites on this album.

And IMO Ross showed how his lyrical game continues to improve. Not to mention this is like the 3rd or 4th video off the album. Best album of the year? Idk. But I can say its a real solid album and well produced.

Push definitely made Ross step his bars up on this record. Not saying he’s been trash but he hasn’t really recorded with anyone as of late thats made his get back on his shit.

YN and Punk Boy Brian said they wouldn’t put anymore BTS vids because it’s redundant. I guess unless they like the way artist dick tastes. SMH.

why does ross get love from real drug dealers? he is making a facade out of what they actually did. Nothing is true from Ross and he is fake. I dont get it. Do they not see through it? Not care? It mattered in the 90s as someone as fake as ross wouldnt be featured with Nas or Hova back then.. Or with Ghostface or Redman.. Is it just because they drug raps are irrelevant in this soft hip hop culture fan base we have now? REally curious. When did the fan of rap become such a faggot? I hate most rap fans. They boast about acts(thats what they are) who are fake and shit. Rap used to have a sense of i am doing this to get out of poverty and explaining what ive seen. Not someone like ross who was college educated from the burbs and had normal jobs and then realized that doesnt sell so he made up a personality and sells records. I thought Pusha T would be someone who realizes this but he doesnt multiple songs with this joker.. I dont get it.

BECAUSE RICK ROSS IS SOMEWHAT RELEVANT AND “THEY” (PUSHA T) AREN’T OR NOT AS RELEVANT

IN 2013… WHEN ARE RELEVANT IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOUR REAL OR NOT

PUSHA IS IN ROSS LANE…. OF FANTASY DOPE DEALING LYRICS

      1. LuckyP757 says:

man what in the fuck language were you just speaking in holmes?

    2. HeyBuddy says:

Why does nobody care about Ross being fake? Because in today’s day and age if you music is hot, that’s what matters. There’s no more I’ll stick to my favorite artist cause of this or cause of that.

If you music is somewhat at least a little bumpin that’s all what matters. Look at homie quan.

      1. LuckyP757 says:

in all actuality the music IS indeed what its all about. after all it is hip hop/rap MUSIC. fans have to learn to be just that, fans and enjoy what these artists are putting together for our enjoyment. i really could care less what any of these rap niggas do off the stage or when off the mic.
