Not to ruin the fun but I think because it’s Eminem ppl give him this giant pass. If he wasn’t Eminem and he performed this song would any of us be able to understand the words. If you went to a live show and saw this guy on stage and didn’t know who he was and he started doing this, you would really be wowed. I’m sorry, Eminem is the GREATEST lyricist of all time and the best to do it, but it doesn’t translate outside the booth. Awful performance and no one can say they even understood a word of what he said. Feel free to chew into me and call me all the names you want, just my opinion, pretty sure no one will agree

im his #1 fan and this is not slim shady. listen to his first album , his delivery & timing is way better than this , so is his punchlines. eminem needs to use drugs again in order to rap as good as his first two albums. he is rapping more like what he did on relapse & recovery.

im not a hater in disguise, im truest type of fan ever because im not afraid to admit when one the greatest rappers ever is putting out sub par music. you cant honestly believe that this song is as good as anything eminem has releases on his first three albums. recovery was decent. i support eminem to the end but im not gonna dick ride every song he puts out, like he is god or something. The performance & delivery is great but that overall song is not a good representation of his talents.

Damn man open your ears. Do you really think Em in 2004 could have done this? No way man. It’s not the end of the world. It’s a song and the flow and lyrics alone kill it. Thats the whole point behind it. This track is pure genius. There’s so many layers to it it’s nuts. This isn’t perse a song and neither did he intend it to be. It is what it is and its fuckin good at that.
my ears are open. eminem actually made better music in 2004 & im glad he wasnt rapping this bad in 2004 either. technically eminem is still a skilled lyricist but this song or so called long verse isnt even better than the verse eminem spit for last years BET hip hop awards cypher. go to youtube & listen to that verse! that is the real slim shady we all miss. this rap god shit is just a terrible attempt at capturing his former glory. the track isnt genius, eminem is a genius but not everything a genius does or says is great & this song is a prime example.

Ok…I’ve been an Em hater since recovery and up to the leak of MMLP2, but even I can’t deny that he killed this performance. And that MMLP2 is surprisingly good. It really does grow on you.

Agree,i never thought he would do this live and even if he did do it live,i thought he would only do half the song or something,cutting out the SuperSonic speed rap but he performed the whole thing and did it so well!

Tupac was nowhere near the top when it comes to technical skill. His gift was making songs that touched people, he didn’t have any really complicated rhyme schemes or flows.
thats great that he can perform with no lip syncing but the song still sucks & the lyrics are wack as hell. Great delivery tho.
