Hollow Da Don walked away victorious last Saturday after defeating Joe Budden at Total Slaughter. In a post battle interview with thatshithotsunlive, Hollow says he takes his victory in stride and eyes Charlie Clips for his next battle. To be honest, Joe practically gave the W away.

I feel the 3rd round decided the battle. Too much pressure was put on Hollow and Joe was under estimated too much. The Jodeci line was magic. Joe should’ve switched up his delivery style in the 3rd.
Man Joe gave that shit away if it was someone skilled he wouldve killed Hollow, everyone expected a diss involving women and not selling since 2003 way predictable shit

Joe got that 2-1. The 3rd was terrible tho. But I don’t was just the crowd booing that made him put the mic down. It was a frustrating situation from the technical side too and I almost think that’s the crowd was wildn because I didn’t hear any reason for them to turn at that point…

Joey won that…clearly…his delivery was a lil off but his bars were solid..that moment of your life line did some damage
I’m surprised Hollow is doing press in the winner’s circle as if he did work in that battle. Joey beat himself in my opinion. If that mic never got put down, Hollow would have taken that L. Even with the mic put down, I think Joey deserved to win that battle.
if joey didn’t basically throw in the towel he had that battle i think he got a lil too hype about his bars with smiling after he said something slick but he’s the professional he should feel all his lines sick so that surprised me. but its like boxing even if you winning if you throw in the towel you lose

Joe definitely killed himself in the last round. What lost
it for him is when he started battling the crowd instead of battling Hollow. As
a veteran MC he should know that you cant let the crowd booing affect you. Just
keep going and if you spitting hot shit they will come back on your side. He
let the crowd get to him and that was his downfall. Also even though he had
dope bars his flow was not fit for battle rap at all. He sounded like he was
reading the lines off pages. He needed to be more fluid and much more
aggressive with his delivery.

For real tho, Joe did hella well. I had my vote for hollow before the battle but joe made me a believer. Marked it 2-1 for joe before he made that error.

I’m a huge Joe Budden Fan, but he lost fair and square. Hollow is a real life “Battle Rapper”… which Joey is not. Freestyle is defiantly a part of Hip Hop, but the real question is….Can Hollow make songs. I’m not talking about a hit, but songs. So I would say rappers are in the industry for a reason and battle rappers are in “battle rap” for a reason….All i’m saying is….stay in your lane if you aint ready.

Hollow need to quit bitching bout the mic and the crowd… Performance wise he was better, but if Joe delivered his 3rd round, I swear that shit would be even… woulda been tough for the judges. I think you guys give Hollow too much credit these days man… I know he’s a vet… but after a while Chuck Lidell’s overhand right and signature super punch becomes predictable, stale, and the new dudes know how to counter the hell out of it. Just sayin’.
