We seen this coming a mile away. Come tomorrow, Jeezy will find himself at the top of the charts with Seen It All taking Billboard’s silver meal. As far as numbers go, the album moved 113,455 in first week sales. Last time Jeezy found himself on the charts was back in 2011 with, TM:103 debuting at #3. Welcome back, Snow.

Lol that’s funny, I’ve never heard that one before, but like I said, I have to check out The Recession again in full, my opinion might be different now…
But I will say this, 101 defined a new era AND standard of Trap Music. He changed the way the game sounds today whether people realize it or not. I will even go as far as to say, most of the beats that are being produced today are all being spawned from the sound of 101, half the beats that get produced today have a trap sound to it, this didn’t happen until 101 dropped (2005)! So I feel when you raise a bar like that in the game, you’re defining something new, innovative and different, 101 is dubbed as a classic (or his at least), so when you have a classic that sets a standard, it’s hard to put anything else out that can top it, there wouldn’t have been a Recession if there wasn’t a 101 first, this is the reason why many will say that Jay-Z’s best album is Reasonable Doubt, that album set a standard! T.I. amongst others came through with the trap sound… But Jeezy perfected it, that’s #FACTSONLY in my book.

It had tons of bangers! “Hypnotize,” “J.E.E.Z.Y.,” “I Luv It,” “Mr. 17.5,” “Dreamin’,” “3 A.M.,” “Go Getta,” “The Realest,” the list goes on!… Those songs were all on SMASH! I find it reaaaaaaaaal hard to dislike that album, $#!+ bumped.
