Ja Rule On Lost Jay Z & DMX Tracks

Gotti Where You At?

During last week’s Def Jam 30 concert, MTV‘s Rob Markman caught up with Ja Rule backstage to discuss his performance, upcoming reality show Follow The Rules, and new generation of rap.

Before ending their chat, Ja reflected on the group Murder Inc. with Jay Z and DMX and revealed that there’s two unheard tracks still lingering around.

“We couldn’t get X and Jay in the same room, from long ago, their storied battle on the pool table, guns out [and] all of that. We tried to deliver that album. It was a situation where egos all just played a part in its demise. I think there might be one or two joints that’s still out there that y’all haven’t heard.”

I’ll still blast “Murdergram” out of my car occasionally. Fuck it. I’d definitely be interested to hear anything unreleased from that time.
