Nicki Minaj host this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. After taking home the “Best Hip Hop” award, she hit the stage for a medley which included a debut of her song “Bed Of Lies” with Skylar Grey.
The song with skylar grey actually sounded decent and pretty serious…..and then she went and did fuckin anacondas…
nicki doesn’t know how to make a heartrtfelt song that’s not cheesy.
like “pills and potions”, “fly”, “freedom”, etc. everytime she tries to go deep and introspective, the songs ends up sounding wild corny.
i’ll only agree with pills n potions mostly because I think she was the wrong person for hook n chorus

Doesn’t mean she a bigger artist tho. Album sales mean nothing because u can’t take a real score.
NIcki needs to find someone to make better pop choices for her… She openly doesn’t like pop music and really doesn’t have a discernible ear for a “good pop tune”.
Ya’ll can clown Super Bass but that was a perfect fit for Nicki. Ester Dean needs to be her A&R
