  2. alex says:

I am glad that these rappers are spreading awareness about climate change but you will run back to the same churches and farakhans of the world who think it is a sign from god. I wish hip-hop was more progressive.

    1. Judge Joe Dredd says:

I hope not with rapping like that, and it’s Ghanian… You’re welcome.

      1. Dashing28 says:

        Actually it IS Ghanaian.

        1. Judge Joe Dredd says:

I would know since I’m actually born and raised there. But believe what you will.

          1. Dashing28 says:

            well…

I’ve seen variations of both written places

but the spelling seems to be most widely accepted as “Ghanaian” and is used on Ghana’s government page as well as on Wikipedia.

            http://www.ghana.gov.gh/index.php/about-ghana/ghana-at-a-glance

            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghanaian_people

            I’m Ghanaian as well btw.

          2. Judge Joe Dredd says:

I’ve seen that variant spelling as well, but at Ghasel Preparatory School in Komenda (Near Cape Coast). They taught us Ghanian, and we call ourselves Ghanians without the “a.”

            Eti sen?

          3. Dashing28 says:

            Eh ya.

I was raised in NY though mostly so I’ll defer to you. It’s likely a case of the incorrect spelling becoming popular among westerners and then eventually it became so known that it stuck.

          4. Affro-hop says:

dude just take the L and accept that there’s an extra ‘a’ in there! Born and raised in Kumasi for 18 years btw!

          5. Judge Joe Dredd says:

Typical dumb bushman…. it’s incorrect you fool. Foh.

  6. America says:
