Since signing Chicago rookie Tink, Timabland can’t seem to keep the music to himself. While on the Hang w/ App, he previewed her Andre 3000 assisted track, “UFO”. From the sound of it, 3 Stacks delivered one heck of a verse. Maybe DJ Envy can “hack” into Timbo’s email again and release the CDQ.

What is blowing mean to u. Not all artist need platinum plaques and giant sell out tours. Being an artist true to the culture means making music u love to make and if ppl support it that’s great. But ur putting value into cliche things that mean nothing. Not every person doing music is doing it for those kiddy dreams. They just wanna make a living doing what they love. God blesses everybody in different ways. TInk is being blessed in the way it’s meant for her too. We receive our blessings in different ways
I think its more that you can take any artist, if they come in the game with Timbo, Jayz, Ross, and Andre 3k on the same songs with them right out the gate they gonna be praised as if they are parallel with those artists. Tink has talent im sure its no knock to her but still…. You could take the the worst rapper on the planet and they would sound good with this level of music behind them. I mean this song alone is clearly a Timbaland song that he just gave to Tink. Just like he used a Ross and Jayz song as a marketing tactic for Tink. Again, no diss to Tink but just saying.
Prior to working with Timbaland Tink was making a name for herself w/ other producers. It was just a matter of time before she was going to blow up. Prior to working with her Tim had worked with Nyemah Supreme who is in my opinion an average rapper. She had Timbaland production but didn’t create a buzz. So I disagree with you when you say that any rapper can shine with his production. Like he said Tink is really talented and can be marketed in a number of artistic lanes.
Lets be real here, 99.9% of the people who now have been exposed to Tink or even bothered to listen in the first place is because the saw the names JAYZ, RICK ROSS, prod by TIMBALAND…. and the rest is history. Now its not just production cause thats not what I said. If you wanna test my theory then go find a rapper and put him or her on a song where there trading verses with Jayz and Rick Ross and Timbaland produced it and then lead off with Timbo at the Breakfast Club giving an interview talking about the artist and then plays the song in which the original version was already on the latest Ross album but when the version in discussion plays you clearly here JAYZ trading bars with the new artist… Its safe to say that extreme tactic would make almost any artist “blow up”. Most people have never heard the name Tink until they heard her trading bars with Jayz amd being associated with Ross and Timbaland. Again this is not hate, I wish her all the success in the future but if your saying she was making a name for herself? I would say I never heard that name until it was associated with Jayz, Timbaland and Rick Ross on the same song and Im willing to bet thats how it was for most people.
