  5. TruthBeTold says:

the intro and blood money had a spark of old wale..then he lost me. Sloppy to me..as much as he tries to bring it back to the good ol days his mmg screaming flow comes back into my ears..listen to Remake of a Remake then The War and listen to his growth..then listen to any one of these tracks and you’ll see he went backwards and to the left. Disappointed, was waiting on him to drop something to see if I’d go watch him on the tour but I rather spend 40$ on a bottle of ciroc and listen to his old shit.

  6. BK James says:

It says ‘stream and download below’ but I don’t see any way to download it…

  7. Caposet says:

Tonight, The Deep End, & Keep It Moving are dope.

  8. Just My Thoughts says:

    Track 1 ehh
Track 4 good beat/sample but boring lyrics
Track 5 sounds the most like old Wale but again the lyrics stink. No hate that’s an honest opinion
Track 6 I didn’t realize this beat didn’t suck until Pusha started rapping. First song I ran back so it’s not all bad but mostly cuz Pusha saves it
Track 7 Him and Soulo weave their verses together on some Lox shit. Good idea but again lyrically Wale gets outclassed, Soul said some slick shit. Not bad
Track 8 Not even a Chance fan but this sounds like a straight Chance song. I like the vibe but wouldn’t play this again
Track 9 Dope beat and decent metaphor/idea but poor execution lyrically & Wale gets lazy with some of the board game metaphors
Track 11 the first half was kind of weird, I almost liked it but I didn’t really like it. Spaceships has a very first album Kanye vibe which I liked but it was entirely too short

All the tracks I didn’t mention are complete trash, the ones above have at least one redeeming quality.

    1. AKB says:

nigga you too busy over analyzing a damn tape to even enjoy the music lol – relax dawg

      1. Raymond Jones says:

Exactly the shit just came out and he talkin all this bullshit, niggas needs to learn how to let shit vibe a little

        1. Supa_Doopa_Ghost1 says:

Errrbody a music critic now. Posting mini reviews and shit.

          1. Go that way says:

So you a comment critic now? Quit cramping my cock

          2. Supa_Doopa_Ghost1 says:

How absolutely homosexual of you gayboy.

      2. Just My Thoughts says:

How am I “over analyzing” I played the songs and gave my reaction. How am I not relaxed? lmao the shit weak

  9. Nicholas El Tahir Jayy says:

It’s easy to realize who’s the top dawgs/trendsetters in the game because you can see their influence musically on niggas projects. Girls on Drugs sounds like a Drake throwaway that emo singing over high hats or 808s is so Drake homie. Wale issue is he’s so concerned with public validation because he has confidence issues. Insecure nigga and on top of that he tends to rap lazy with corny metaphors and humor. Sounds really awkward and uncertain alot!! Tbt

    1. kudahfee says:

Dude it’s a mixtape settle down ma nigga

      1. BKS says:

A quality artist puts out quality music though regardless of what it is. Since More About Nothing his mixtapes have been straight GARBAGE

      2. Nicholas El Tahir Jayy says:

        *Kanye Shrug*

      3. yyyyyes says:

Your the problem right here. If we keep letting artists put out bullshit music and then we validate it, it gives them reason to keep putting out shitty music. Go listen to migos or some pop shit dude. later.. This mixtape is gayer than fucking guys.

    2. Dev says:

Man stfu. Wale been making songs like Girls On Drugs…..”90210″ 2014 version

      1. PillsnPotion says:

I hope you know 90210 had more depth than this shit though..all you gotta do is listen to the last line of 90210 and you won’t argue..story telling at its finest..true ex fans miss that Wale

        1. Dev says:

Yea it had more depth but my comment was based on him saying he copied Drake. And I’ll be the first to tell you that wale was the shit, I don’t feel he lost it tho.

          1. Honestly says:

He said specifically the flow, and honestly I had the same knee jerk reaction when I heard it so I’ve got to agree. Wale starting to sound like the trendsetters

          2. Dev says:

He never used the word flow nor did he specifically point out the flow.

          3. Honestly says:

You’re right, I took “emo singing” to mean flow though. His vocal presentation on the song sounds very Drake influenced, if you prefer that description

    3. Aaron Massinburg says:

Dude girls on drugs is a continuation of the last lines in one of his previous songs “90210” but if u don’t like the guy don’t listen I don’t understand why Ya take the time to say how you didn’t enjoy his stuff . If you didn’t enjoy it the don’t listen, to each his own. I think the mixtape is great personally and girls on drugs is one of my favorites on the mixtape . Js

  10. polopolo1 says:

I haven’t heard it yet but I don’t see why he felt the need to “hold is fans over” if your shit as dope as you claim we will wait, not too long though, but we waited for cole and were waiting for kendrick and drake,

wale dope he should just put 100% of his energy into an album we can enjoy. Instead of wasting time finishing off throw aways

  11. everyonesacritic says:

tapes flame idk what you people listening to. to each its own

    1. WALE_IS_GOAT says:

exactly! walk is goat. if you like the FRANK OCEAN VIBES you should listen to http://www.soundcloud.com/love_at_first_sound/finewithoutyou

    2. Honestly says:

Lol you believe that? Like…whole heartedly? I be so grateful that cats like you don’t exist in my circle

      1. yezzir says:

I know man. My buddies found out about the wale tape about nothing all by themselves. They were like you have never heard of this guy? Why didn’t you tell us about him. Then he hasnt had a hot verse since no hands with waka and that wasn’t even any goo and im like dudes.. boring raps going off of tv shows he watched growing up because he has no creativity. He is like the Black Mac Miller/Chris Webby. The bars will impress you for a second. Then it is just nothing happening.

    3. b r z a says:

to each their own but this tape is free and I still don’t want it lol it’s that bad

    4. M.E.C.C.A, says:

Like he said if it’s fuck me its fuck you tooooooooo

  12. AKB says:

I like the versatility son showed on this tape – can’t be mad at a artist for choosing to not sound the same all the time – it’s a good listen

  13. Yaaaaaa says:

I wonder if Wale just ran of normal people problems..this music has no depth to it.

      1. GodlyAssNigga says:

U knew what he meant fag boy

        1. Ayo says:

He corrected himself, why are you so anxious to call strangers “fags” on the internet? Weirdo

  14. kdrum says:

this dope i cant want for taan album

You and your friend mac DIESEL need some punany so badly.

      1. JefferyDamnHer says:

      2. el jim chapo guzman says:

Yeah I need some pussy, why don’t you hook me up with your mom’s?

        1. mac DIESEL PUSSY DEPRIVED says:

Mac DIESEL has agreed to swap his mom with yours.

          1. el jim chapo guzman says:

            FUCK YOU.

  16. Raymond Jones says:

This was not a bad tape hopefully he comes with that fire for the album and it lives up to his “Nothing” series.

  17. Sina Mailer Daemon Djavadkhani says:

This might be his best body of work ! Love the live instrumentation and dreamy vibes ! Thank you Wale and A Trak !

    1. Honestly says:

I’m not even a Wale fan but I’m amazed a nigga could say that with a straight face when dude made the Mixtape about nothing

  18. b r z a says:

*checks in just to read the inevitable hate* lol

  19. brandonEP says:

    can’t please everyone

  20. mac DIESEL IS PUSSY-DEPRIVED says:

    mac DIESEL IS PUSSY-DEPREIVED

  21. eeryk says:

Y’all so focused on this man being with mmg y’all descredit the shit and listen to it with half an ear only aiding your already biased opinion that he lost himself somehow, all his mixtapes got gems from 100 miles too nothing, back to feature, y’all be so sleep it ain’t funny, dude snapped on every track, one verse got more metaphors/ entundres than some of these dudes whole album, shit I’m not no wale “Stan” but if you think this garbage then exit stage left, cause you tone def homie, let a nigga live.

  22. PhilLee8 says:

Dafuc are y’all listening to man, Wale got some joints on here tho!

  23. GetReal says:

LOL I’m just laughing at all these comments

  24. The Incredible Creation says:

pretty sure this is more than a EP -_- http://alltheparticulars.blogspot.com/

“An extended play (EP) is a musical recording that contains more music than a single, but is usually too short to qualify as a full studio album or LP. The term EP originally referred to specific types of vinyl records other than 78 rpm standard play (SP) records and LP records,[1] but it is now applied to mid-length compact discs and music downloads as well. Ricardo Baca of The Denver Post said, “EPs—originally extended-play ‘single’ releases that are shorter than traditional albums—have long been popular with punk and indie bands.”[2] In the United Kingdom, the Official Chart Company defines a boundary between EP and album classification at 25 minutes of length or four tracks (not counting alternative versions of featured songs, if present).[3][4]”

  25. GodlyAssNigga says:

Haven’t peeped. Might when I get a lil drunker. Wale boring as hell tho & it’s not cus I don’t like lyrics/productions. The shits just not appealing

  26. Chronic says:

The older I get the more I’m really starting to like Wales music. If you don’t think he’s nice, you’re crazy. The only real mistake he’s made is signing with MMG

  27. mac DIESEL PUSSY DEPRIVED says:

Animal Ambition has now sold more units than Mastermind. MMG is officially done.

  28. Verde25 says:

this is Wale’s best mixtape since more about nothing. really loving that track he got with ab-soul.

  29. Drexler says:

Jerry Seinfeld shouldnt endorse wale as he continues to embarrass the show with his terribly songs that use quotes from the show

  30. SpaceGhost says:

I don’t really have patience for the internet back-n-fourth negative shit with folks, so I’ll just say this. Tape is nice. Been riding to it. Sounds nice on my JL Audio 12 WV62.

  31. Facts says:

lol the hate is crazy. Niggas hate so much this is crazy lol. Like this is garbage? Lol yall lying to yall selves man

    1. Ye says:

How’s it not garbage?? Please explain to me..compared to old wale work..find me a song like shades..or a feel good song like black and gold..or a break up song..this is full of throwaways

  32. Capuccino says:

tbh the best part of this was the Chance verse lml fr tho some of the beats r nice, wale gotta switch up his flow tho

  33. @sir_keldubb says:

Artists will grow and change.. It’s stupid to expect the same version of someone 5 or 6 years later. . That’s boring. I expect growth in an artist or at least an attempt at it. You are either a fan or not. Move on, if you didn’t like ambition, legendary, love or hate thing, black heroes or bricks (just to name a few). We all loved Nike boots, the break up song, and 90210… but lets not live damn near a decade in the past. Appreciate the music and the work or turn on the radio.
