  6. brandonEP says:

    I fuck with this track

  7. Greenbergs says:

this dude makes music that you could actually play in your beats and go to sleep to…

  8. Greenbergs says:

where are the fucking females?? the fucking club records? the fucking anthems? this hippity hop shit can only get you so far today..

    1. Sean.U says:

Joey Is Dope Up and Coming MC I believe he’ll Balance out his Jazzy/Slow/Gritty Underground Vibe with more of a CL Smooth “Searching” (Dope Record BTW), “Take You There” (Dope club Record), and “Carmel City” (Cool record) Type of Vibe definitely I’ve heard to snippets on the Album that have that kind of Vibe one the standard version of the album while one is on the bonus with Elle Varner as a feature so Just be patient

      1. Greenbergs says:

na bruh, my patience with this dude been up, he releases dud after dud..

        1. Sean.U says:

Okay I guess You want more of Trap Sound??? Because I don’t see him dabbling with that sound Fans need to be more descriptive on what they want from artist

          1. Greenbergs says:

broski it dont have to be a trap sound to be a club record even though thats whats popping now, or that dj mustard sound…it could be a new york sounding record that is still bumped in the clubs and on the radio, he just need to find something that would work for his style and literally not leave the studio until he concocts a hit record…

          2. Sean.U says:

Okay That’s Cool he’s had records with tiny glimpses of that Like “Sol Luna” which was melodic/Jazz with dope snare drums. “Death Of Yolo” shouldn’t Been Push More towards the Radio and His Other Record “My Yout” was Cool Vibes But Like You said He not Necessarily Aiming where Troy Ave is Aiming for Which sonically is More Upbeat NY Sounding (reminiscent Of G-unit/Dip set) Club records. That’s Just not his Ambition what it seems like from My perspective but who Knows??? Let’s wait and see if the record is in your words a “Dud” or Gem and raise the level of his Song writing (Bdot likes don’t hold your breath smh Lol) and emceeing but since he wants to remain Underground its to tell

          3. Greenbergs says:

btw if he tries a trap sound at this point in his career, he’ll be looked at as a fool in the hip hop community, it wouldnt make sense and it goes against everything he been tryna do with his beast coast movement…these dudes need new management desperately…

          4. Sean.U says:

I don’t know about that since they want to remain Underground since there all still young and Johnny shipes isn’t bad He manages Smoke DZA and Big K.R.I.T

          5. Greenbergs says:

dude wowzers, you are telling me that smoke dza and big krit want to remain underground too….yipes!!

          6. Sean.U says:

Definitely not KRIT and DZA. Krit he’s Sign to Def Jam and His Album was Pretty Good. DZA been wanting his Shinefor while so NO. I was Referring to Joey Specifically tho

          7. Greenbergs says:

well, all ima say for joey and his crew, is tick tock..

          8. Sean.U says:

He Only 19 going on 20 give him Time there have been Plenty a MC who have spent time Underground Before Going Mainstream
Jay-Z was Underground from like 88-96(Didn’t “pop” til 98)
50 Cent Underground from like 98/99 didn’t pop til 03
Eminem was underground from 95/96 didn’t Pop til 99/00
Kendrick release 3 mixtapes prior to GKMC in 2012
J.Cole was underground for good minute before Sideline in 2011
So give him time and don’t “Monday Morning quarterback” him to death lol

          9. Greenbergs says:

na my dudes at least 20 going on 21, i know for a fact….but w.e thats not important you are speaking about diff. caliber rappers that rapped in a diff. period…trinidad james wasnt old, bobby shmurda is the same age…i bet when he’s released he still got a hit lined up..that arrest only made his shit bigger now..cuz its real..you saying give joey time…but the industry dont give people “time” my man..

          10. Sean.U says:

Yeah Mainstream Record Executives don’t give u time because records Don’t sell like they did 15 years ago and they need to make money it is a capitalist country we live in But Since Joey in Independent/underground he doesn’t have to worry bout that Exactly. Us as fans just need to chill with this NFL “what have u done for me lately Monday morning quarterback” mentality because its part of the reason why most artist don’t sell records because Fans are so Fickle and can’t make up there minds one day you hate it next day you love it smh

          11. Greenbergs says:

if you see in my previous comments the only track i feel from dude is that first shit he released on wshh that he got noticed for…i think the majority or real hip hop heads would agree that joey is at a standstill right now…hes not the wackest of the wack, but he not really doing too good, wack is actually what selling right now, so maybe he should dumb his shit down a bit or try to make his shit relatable/listenable to all people, not just hipsters from the suburbs who think they know hip hop..

          12. Sean.U says:

Dumbing down his Lyrics and Content So you can be satisfied with music??? And there lies the critical reason why fans Myself included should just either appreciate the crath of Emceeing/rhyming/making songs their way as opposed us tryna morph them into something we want them to be let’s not do that its petty and corny. Rakim didn’t compromise, nor CL Smooth, even an Eminem so why should Joey??? To appease Mass Appeal??? You can force that it doesn’t work that way either accept it for what is in its own essence or just leave it alone because your not necessarily relating to it

          13. Greenbergs says:

the shit is still music, it has to be enjoyable to listen to..

          14. Sean.U says:

That’s a Relative term what’s good for you won’t necessarily be good for someone else

          15. Greenbergs says:

Well apparently only the hipsters and hip hop purists are feeling this dude, other than that he has very little appeal..

          16. Sean.U says:

            To each his own bruh

          17. Greenbergs says:

and as for joey badass and his crew wanting to remain underground, i dont know if they’ll ever make it mainstream if they keep this shit up, eventually they will all disappear from hip hop and shipes will wonder why, and thats if they stay with his management team…

          18. Greenbergs says:

honestly the only song of joey badass that i liked was the first original wshh video with his boy spitting…that was actually a pretty dope introduction to the rap game, but honestly he never moved on or “elevated” from that level..this is just my opinion though, the hipsters love him
