New Music: BADBADNOTGOOD & Ghostface Killah Ft. DOOM “Ray Gun”

DOOMSTARKS!

It’s been over 3 years since we’ve heard Ghost and Doom on a track. And with Toronto jazz trio, BADBADNOTGOOD laying out the foundation, we hear DOOMSTARKS do what they do best. The track is off the band and Killah’s joint project, Sour Soul on February 24.

OH MY GOD. This is dope. Ghostface is one of the most consistent rappers ever.

  2. THE REAL mac DIESEL says:

GHOST IS STRUGGLING BADLY TO KEEP UP WITH THE BEAT!!!! GHOST LOST A STEP AND YA’LL DON’T WANNA BELIEVE ME!!!! SMH!!!!

    DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

    1. AthrazhuR says:

Ghost used to twist rhymes into pretzels, we will never have Supreme Clientele Ghost back, and for this I weep daily. I wish someone would counsel him, and get him back into some semblance of fighting form. He and Raekwon should hibernate, joined by Killah Priest and GZA and build monuments, but it ain’t going to happen. I’m thankful that he’s doing his thing and he’s getting shine, but yeah…this isn’t the artist that you begged your mans to listen to and kept asking,..”did you hear what he just said!”, all the while chuckling to yourself at how much of an off kilter genius he is.
It’s a new day, there are few such beacons on the horizon. He is guilty of shining so bright in his heyday.

      1. Johnnie Rawker says:

so you’re saying you want him to go back to smoking dust?

        1. bottom side inc says:

If it’s gonna get him back to prominence, then yes. Him, Cappodonna, GZA all them Wu niggas is dope, but after not being relevant anymore or making hits like they did in the 90’s, they lost their mojo.

          1. Johnnie Rawker says:

ghost is arguably the most consistent MC in rap. definitely the most consistent and prolific out the clan. he also has the best ear for beats and if you look at the production on 36 seasons and wu block, you can’t say his soundscape isn’t on point. id dare to say ghost has stayed in its bag and its continued to fall on deaf ears, but those who are looking for that nourishment know where to find it

        2. AthrazhuR says:

I think it’s more the soundscapes than the drugs. “RZA beats make me wanna fight..” I know that’s not a Ghost line, but the off kilter beats like “The Grain” or “One” just wouldn’t find any outlets nowadays. Back then you had a 10M strong Wu fanbase that you could throw your eclectic music out to and, even if only a small percentage got it, it was food to eat. If Ghost went back in that bag I suspect it would fall on deaf ears.
I don’t wish anyone, especially my brothers be caught up in drugs; alcohol, lean, molly, weed included.

      2. THE REAL mac DIESEL says:

FINALLY SOMEBODY THAT’S PAYIN’ ATTENTION!!!! HE’S FAR FROM WACK BUT IF YOU’RE A FAN FROM DAY ONE YOU WOULD KNOW!!!! REAL RECOGNIZE REAL!!!!

        DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

      3. PREMERE says:

You forgot to mention Inspectah Deck
        Poisonous paragraphs, smash ya phonograph
in half, it be the Inspectah Deck on the warpath
First class leavin mics with a cast
Causin ruckus like the aftermath when guns blast
Run fast, here comes the verbal assaulta
Rhymes runnin wild like a child in a walker
I scored from the inner slums abroad
And my thoughts are razor sharp I sliced the mic from the cord,

Cats aint spitting like this no more…

  3. the DOCTOR says:

This song alone is better than 36 Seasons, and that album was dope.

  4. el jim chapo guzman says:

The god sound kinda wack, I rather listen to action Bronson.

  5. G-Boogie says:
