New Music: Grand Puba “The More Things Change”

Never Change.

From police brutality to the failure of the judicial system afterwards, Grand Puba sounds off on the title track off his forthcoming album. He tells AHH:

“It saddens me to see a new generation experiencing the same social, political and economic challenges that every generation prior has faced. The world is watching everything from police brutality, to the failure of our judicial system, to Hollywood’s continuous inaccurate portrayal of our Egyptian ancestors. The world is watching.”

Dope! Heard Sadat X on the Combat Jack Show podcast then played a lil Grand Puba 2000 during my lunch. This song came rt on time! One of the greats and his sing song style is more relevant now than ever before in the game. Crossing fingers for more music.

Dope!!!! Breath of fresh air this isn’t for this generation that thinks Lil Wayne is a top 5 emcee of all time. Puba keep teaching the blind not to mention this man been in the game since the 80’s and still sound crisp. You lil niggas need to take notes.

Puba doing what he does, this was a dope song with soul in it. I am not going to sit here bashing the new generation for not taking time to listen and subsequently commenting here. They trying to do their own thing but it’s the job of the older generation to take time out to school them on why they even need to listen to joints like this rather than dressing and acting and talking like the younger generation. Doing sh*t like that gives them the wrong ideas. Less Shmurda dancing and more educating.
