New Video: Kanye West x Paul McCartney “Only One”

For North

Kanye returned to The Ellen Show earlier and premiered the heartfelt visual for his ode to daughter North West. Weathering the storm, Kanye comforts his first born during the father and daughter moment.

During his interview with Ellen, Ye spoke on his BET Honor, Adidas partnership, desire of wanting more kids and mentions he’s still juggling the title of his next album.

      3. ShaVonte C. Jenkins says:

No but you can suck my dick fuckboy! I look better than your mama

    2. K.I. says:

True but it’s only a problem if he denied that. It’s ok to be an asshole to me, but you have to be aware and know about the shit that you dgaf about. You can’t be ignorant too. I think that’s how he comes off but I don’t think so.

      1. ShaVonte C. Jenkins says:

Ye I don’t believe Ye knows when he comes off as ignorant, I feel like he truly feels like everything he does is gospel…which sometimes make me cringe. In this interview Ye comes off very awkward, sincere, and timid athough boastful. At times he can just be a dick…in all he’s just one ball of confusion but thar makes him Ye.

        1. K.I. says:

I completely agree. I think that he is doing better now he has a wife and daughter that he has to account for. Before them it was his mom. He loved Amber but he really didn’t care about a relationship; he cared that she wasn’t telling him to chill & letting him be him(“In the bathroom gripping you up, fucking & choking you…”). Now he has to get back on his square because even if he’ll never again smile in public he has to smile for his little girl.

          1. ShaVonte C. Jenkins says:

I was just listening to blame game….though funny felt it was mad disrespectful towards amber

          2. K.I. says:

Yeah, he was in his feelings. The song had the stans throwing shit at her in the streets.

        2. GetReal says:

its actually really simple, when you feel like you been shitted on your whole life, and people have underestimated you early in your career, once you shut those people the fuck up and drop endless classics its hard to stay humble, he wants to be humble, but deep down inside he wants to shit on any and every last person that ever doubted him

      1. ShaVonte C. Jenkins says:

thanks baby I still love you and your daddy’s dick

  3. Mr.Stealyogurl says:

that baby is cute as hell

    1. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

      1. THE REAL mac DIESEL says:

    2. PettyNigga says:

Let me keep it 100 with you, Kanye will make you eat your words. There are artist you just can’t doubt when it comes to music he gave you six albums that were dope ass fuck and one question album Yeezus.

      1. Selorm Amuzu says:

Kanye has 6 dope albums and a polarizing album; He almost has the perfect discography

  7. HOLA' HOVITO says:

Kanye still has alot more in store but this phase he’s going through might be hard for his old fanbase to connect to .. he’s actually HAPPY for once

Dont want to speak bad into existence but if he breaks up with Kim we are going to hear one of the greatest albums of all time .. the type of album that will make you question drakes role in hip hop

    1. SaniAbacha says:

Fuck his old fanbase if all they can focus on is his marriage. He doesn’t owe them shit and they have no say on what his personal life should be.

    2. K.I. says:

Lol but you may be right. Even still, every real Ye fan knows he’ll never do the same album twice. So there was always gonna be a departure from Yeezus whenever he dropped.

    3. PettyNigga says:

What does Drake have to do with this? I swear people hate Drake just to hate him.SMH

      1. HOVITO says:

  10. Donn says:

PPL have no heart man. Dude is happy for once in his life. He gave u classic music and all u care about is squeezing what u want out of him. Let dude channel all his feelings not just HipHop. He isn’t a rapper. He is an ARTIST. Let him create. U act like u never heard Hey Mama or 808s, he’s done songs like this before

    1. SaniAbacha says:

      Well said man.

    2. MrSkeezyMak says:

      Dear Mama shits on this.

  11. FreSH82 says:

Dope video!! Made me think of me and my daughter

  12. PettyNigga says:

Most impactful most inspiration artist in a fucking decade.

    #STAYWOKE

    1. the art of deception says:

      #GayPride

  13. Nathaniel says:

white interviewers (yes, white… i know exactly what i said), in particular, when interviewing outspoken, Black influential individuals, always try to redefine and give their own spin or interpretation on how that individual has and should represent themselves to the public, rather than just asking questions and letting them speak for themselves without that extra narrative. they just can’t help themselves. i see it in every kanye interview. malcolm x. james baldwin. kwame toure. huey newton. louis farrakhan. and no i’m not ‘comparing’ him to the work of those men. ellen is no different from charlie rose, donahue, irv kupcinet, martin bashir, katie couric, matt lauer, mike wallace. they’re so slick and subtle.

the wise peep that shit, though.

kanye ain’t less ‘angry’. and he’s not going to be pacified. and if you really listen and pay attention, he’s been saying the same things his entire career, in principle. his circumstances and experiences are the only thing that has changed.

    1. Nathaniel says:

larry king, too. can’t forget him. and i won’t even mention the late show dudes… stephen colbert, bill maher. on and on and on.

  14. el jim chapo guzman says:

Bad news ye’ cause ray j is about to be their neighbor lol how you feel ye.

  15. Fiyah says:

To all the people saying “Why are you mad at him, he’s happy for once?”: It’s not that people are mad that he’s happy, its that people are mad that this song sucks. It really isn’t that tough of a concept to understand. Besides, who’s to say he’s happy now and he was during his heyday of College Dropout and Late Registration??

    1. Mr. white says:

Do u listen to any other genre of music? Cause this song is fucking good!!! It’s just not what YOU wanna hear from him. “fans” are so fucking annoying smh y’all never want artist to go. Y’all just want them to make the same album over and over again until you’re sick of them then you’re be the first one to call that artist wack cause they never change their style

      1. Fiyah says:

Dude, seriously, get off your high horse and just stop. This is NOT a good song. Take off the auto-tune and MAYBE we can talk, but this does NOT sound (emphasis on SOUND) good and it doesn’t make you more evolved to pretend like it does.

      2. MACH 5 NICCA says:

this song is not good at all. in any way. in any genre. it should have been kept private for him to play to ray j’s daughter one day.

        1. Mr. white says:

You’re nothing more than a hater that likes his own comments! Smh ima pray for you

          1. MACH 5 NICCA says:

you of all people calling someone a hater, now thats rich!

    2. k.smith says:

it’s a good song. you don’t like it because you can’t relate to it and/or you were expecting something else from him.

      1. Fiyah says:

Yes, that’s it! My mom is alive and I don’t have a daughter, so no wonder I don’t like it! It all makes so much sense now. Thank you for your wisdom.

        1. k.smith says:

you’re welcome. god bless your little heart.

  16. YOUNG NIGGA says:

Has Kanye always sounded like a white guy?

  17. Mr. white says:

People just gotta accept the fact that Ye will NEVER make another College Dropout, Late, Graduation or MBDTF! If Ye don’t make another album that you like, the man gave you four classic albums, tons of dope beats & he changed the game. What more do you want from an artist damn? Lol

  18. VANE says:

I have reported Kanye to the proper authorities for child abuse. Would it have killed him to put the babies hood up or get an ubrella. Even Kanye has his hood up but he’s letting his baby get rained all over. What a terrible father and person.

  19. Datduderay says:

Man Jay did the same type of song when blue was born called “Glory” i believe. He didn’t go nd put it on his album. Niggas needa relax talking bout his album gone be wack; one things that’s for sure is that its gonna be different. No matter how hard u try, u cant really pin point what the album could possibly sound like. Btw thats a cute baby.

  20. Mike D. says:

Let me preface this by saying, I’m a Ye fan! Duke is a genius and that’s not something I personally throw around at the newest fads, etc. He’s extraordinary, no doubt! I’m not even here to talk about the music…the song is a good album cut as B. Dot mentioned below. I’m here to talk about his body language and presentation.

Hov, Pac, Will Smith…umm those are a FEW cats I can think of off top to make my point I’m about to mention. Ye is MAD uncomfortable in front of white people. You can see it, you can hear it in his speech pattern and delivery. He definitely got his point across, but you can see he was actually SEARCHING for words to say in his head. I know you should have 2-3 dialects…(as a Black man)…Professional, In the company of friends/family, and talking to your moms (you have to dial back even more than friends and family). I just bring this up because this is the same cat that has so much bombast/energy when talking to his own or people in the HipHop sphere ie Sway, The Breakfast Club, Zane Lowe, etc….but he gets around people like Ellen, Anna Wintour, etc….he deflates a little bit.

If you peeped the interview even Ellen say’s “I noticed you’re less…..angry”. She didn’t want to use that word to stereotype him as “Angry Black Man”…and I know sometime PASSION can be misconstrued for anger. But the artists I aforementioned as ALWAYS the same in interviews. Whether they are being serious or joking. Will Smith actually HIGHJACKS interviews from white host.

I know Ye don’t really like doing interviews, it’s just funny to me…something I’ve noticed before…that’s he’s very combative with HipHop mediums but I hate to say it almost kowtow when he’s being interviewed in non-HipHop environments.

    Just my observation!

    Peace
    Megamind

    1. MACH 5 NICCA says:

how is he uncomfortable in front of white people if hes married to a white bitch and chills with her whole white family

      1. Mike D. says:

Did you watch the clip? Have you ever seen any of his other interviews? More importantly interviews he’s have with DJ/Radio Personalities in the HipHop/Urban sphere?

If you can’t look at that clip and see he’s VISIBILITY nervous then you just don’t see/get it. Playing with his wedding ringing, shaky legs, lack of eye contact at certain points of their exchange.

No in defense of your statement (ill do it for you)…this isn’t the format/platform for an aggressive Ye. HOWEVER, this DEFINITELY ain’t the same Ye that I’VE seen in other media interviews.

PS – KK is Armenian…which is technically Persian…thus her dark feathers. She’s not European Caucasian that you’re thinking of.

        1. the art of deception says:

more white than black, just like amber rose thats why he wifed her, kanye dont mess with black women

    2. ShaVonte C. Jenkins says:

I don’t know if its with just a white host, maybe in front of a mostly white audience like Ellen’s or jay leno’s a few years back. He’s seems very. Arkward in this interview but in Zane lowe interview he seemed at ease. I think its the place he is in his head at the time. Ye seems like an overthinker.

  21. BEE says:

mac diesel is a stupidity virus on the internet. Not a real person.

  22. Jake Zero says:

    This shit is unlistenable man.

  23. Dumb says:

    That is really bad

  24. fig says:

all the people hating on this song are stupid as fuck
do you really think he cares if ANY of us like the shit?
he made the song for his daughter
he made the song so that when shes an adult she has something to always remember him by
who cares if its not “hip hop” or “classic kanye” you lame ass haters

    1. the art of deception says:

then he shoulda kept it private to play her one day…not try to flip it into profit

      1. fig says:

artists share their work….thats what he does for a living.
my point is people need to take the song for what it is
and stop worrying about if it’s “real hip hop” or not.

  25. GetReal says:

i really like this song, and I’m not just saying that, i honestly cant see why y’all don’t like it, but then again you niggas hate everything on here, cant satisfy em all can you?
