With no introduction needed, Robyn, Kanye and Paul appeared on the Grammy stage for their first live performance of “FourFiveSeconds”. Prior to the ceremony, Kanye revealed on the red carpet that he will be executive producing Rihanna’s album.
The Grammys are all about celebrity. They’re not about music. Let’s be real. Shit was wack.

I’ll tell you what wasn’t dope, beck winning album of the fucking year. These fucking people have no clue! I personally cannot remember hearing one beck song all this year, more less knew they even put out an album.
I hate to say it, but it’s shit like this that make me think the Grammys are racist. I’m sure somebody feels the same way.
Well, I haven’t listened to Beck’s album. So, I can’t comment in that regard. However, I think Beyoncé most likely had the most impactful and successful album. Does that make it better than Beck’s? I don’t know.
If I knew the judging criteria I would give it some thought. But her one song, her RADIO SMASH was bigger than their whole album. Plain bullshit. Not to mention pharrell was in this same discussion. His ONE RADIO SMASH had a HUGE IMPACT on dying children. There’s no case for beck in this discussion but just pure robbery, once again.
If this was an indie awards show I’d agree with it, but it’s not. It’s the Grammys.
Yours is a reasonable perspective. If we’re talking about impact then Beck hasn’t got a leg to stand on, given the competition.
