Hope kendrick got something else in his bag for the album other than those corny black panther raps.

    1. Mr.Stealyogurl says:

You may not like them… But corny is definitely the wrong word

      1. Mike D. says:

The ignorant and condition mind will always reject the truth. Willful ignorance is worst than not knowing at all. Remember that bro bc what you said is 100x true…it’s been so long before a mainstream artist with real credibility, not considered “backpack” and “underground” are speaking the real. Fools don’t understand or get that.

I like a “dumbed down” tune just as much as the next man…but there has been NO balance, KL brings that balance, J Cole brings that balance. Even Big Sean has decent msgs…he’s evolving.
Drake is incapable of this…and not out of ignorance. But he’s bi-racial so the plights of the average Black man in America or worldwide, he doesn’t have to experience that. This is not a slight to the Young G…just fact.

So if cat’s don’t like what KL and J Cole and a few other are kicking, turn it off and listen to something else.

        1. brandish says:

          isnt J.Cole bi-racial?

          1. Mike D. says:

Indeed…that’s why I said “…Black man plights in America”, please believe that they are COMPLETELY different in Canada…Toronto more specifically.

But hey even without point that out…Drake has released 5 major label project (SFG…this was packaged as an EP, TML, TC, NWTS and IYRT…)
I all that music, I haven’t heard Drake make an introspective song about societal ills against Blacks…He’s not that type of artists…he said so himself on the album in the song about his moms. Ain’t nothing wrong with that, he just don’t come from that life/world…whereas Cole does. I fk with ALL their music though.

            Peace

I understand what he’s saying. Black people are still in 2015 not treated equally. Some white people out there don’t like niggas but the I’m black and proud shit is wack

      2. ygg says:

how about wack…the I’m black and proud raps are wack

        1. Mr.Stealyogurl says:

It’s wack because it’s about being black and proud…? How does the subject matter determine the wackness of a song? Sounds like you wanted some turn up tunes and you feeling some type of way lol

        2. BlackCrown216 says:

          Your lost aren’t you?

If your not sure, just look around.

If you can put into words how proud you are to be who you are in a country that hates you, I’m all for it. Make the music good. But for you to.say that “those black and proud songs are wack” goes to show that you live in a box and are unable to really listen.

You need Gucci and French Montana huh? Go get em.

      3. BlackCrown216 says:

I find it sound so crazy how some.people think….not only that, but their mind frames and the words they allow to come.out of their mouth.

    2. Hussle says:

      FOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    3. el jim chapo guzman says:

        1. Da Business says:

I’m like a junkie in need of a fix. I don’t understand what’s the hold up, it’s been 3 yrs. Interscope needs to follow the lead and Cole and Drake. Drop the lp, he has a hardcore fan base, we’ll support it.

          1. el jim chapo guzman says:

            Kendrick is overrated though.

          2. Da Business says:
