  5. brollya says:

damn how u let birdman get 51% of a company he started …. hes stilll on the f0rbes list tho lol… my nigga bout to get that 51 million and shit on em…

    1. RightHook says:

go watch the show Shark Tank on ABC, it will explain why Cash Money wanted 51 percent, that makes them the controlling interest of the company. by getting that ONE percent more than 50, THAT makes CASH money the controlling partner for Young Money.

      1. Chronic says:

I think he was asking it rhetorically

  11. truth says:

how the and why the hell did he agree to cashmoney to own the majority stake in his own label.

why own a label if your not the majority shareholder. might as well just said let me get 49% of cash money.

  12. Trillionare says:

I don’t know if you can call Birdman smart or Wayne dumb, its so many questions I have just off bucks not even knowing the details about this shit…. He should have just left the first time….. then Birdman agreed to give him his “Own” company but even still Birdman Owned majority of Wayne’s company. It was so obvious to see what was going on Birdman attaching Cash Money to Young Money Making it YMCMB, all young money big artist signed to Cash Money too, I don’t see how Wayne gets anything if he signed all these contracts. Shit crazy!!

    1. KILLA says:

Forreal. It’s really sad. My question though on some serious shit is while I understand this nigga Wayne looks up to Birdman as a father you don’t have a lawyer to review the contracts. This is business at the end of the day. I can’t imagine any lawyer in the interests of Lil Wayne for him to sign off on anything he created and not be the primary share holder, that’s really, really dumb. The only way, Lil Wayne has a chance of winning if all the obligations that were outlined in the contract were indeed not met.

      1. Trillionare says:

You already knew he had Cash Money appointed Lawyers that he didn’t have to pay for… Nigga didn’t see the bigger picture until it got to be to much

  13. Justin Time says:

Wayne out here on the purp ain’t worried about nothing, and Baby is sober as hell, sharp as a tack with his mind on his business & money. Wayne gotta do better

  14. Accountant, not a lawyer but.. says:

This nigga was “renegotiating” to get ADVANCES?! What kinda shit is that? So he wasn’t actually getting any extra money

  15. TopNotchN3gro says:

Pusha T & Hov have moved from the popcorn to Ben & Jerry’s. “The best parts yet to come!”

  16. Dame Damn says:

Lil Wayne gave Baby n ’em majority stake in his his own imprint. In other words, he gave them controlling interest in YM.
