  11. DETROIT!23 says:

the word “Detox” not said once!

    1. BaYFect says:

or Suge going off roading in the middle of Compton.

  12. realcheesehammerbubble says:

first question i woulda asked soon as the tape started rollin is “wheres detox”, im sick of interviewers dancin around the top question every fan wants to know.

    1. Dope says:

We know it’s NOT coming, there is no need to speak about it unless he decides to bring it up himself, meaning he actually has something new to say about Detox, and obviously he doesn’t.

    2. Dame Damn says:

I could care less about Detox. Dre is no longer one of the top producers. Let’s face it. The kids making beats these Dre cannot hang with. Sampling costs too much money. Without sampling Dre can’t hang.

      1. The Almighty says:

I disagree, if Dre wanted to he could. This guy is making millions selling headphones, he doesn’t have to make music anymore unless he wants to. Don’t get it twisted and become a prisoner of the moment, Dre is still a dope producer.

        1. Dame Damn says:

Dre is a great producer – no question. He can’t compete in today’s field, though. Dre’s greatness is sample driven. I can’t think of one hot beat that is sample free that Dre has produced. Give me the last great song that Dre produced, himself.

          1. The Almighty says:

You can’t name one? OK, well me telling you what last great song he produced was is pretty irrelevant to what I was saying to you… I was saying If he WANTED to compete he could. Also most of the greatest Hip Hop producers are sample driven, so what?

          2. Dame Damn says:

Name one sample free beat that Dre has produced that was a hot one. Feel free to take your time.

I don’t think you understand that in this day and age of few record sales, more available free music, sample driven music is less financially viable to make. Therefore, beats made from scratch are really dominating soundscape today. That is not Dre’s forté. He would need serious help in such an instance. Dre is no Pharrell.

          3. The Almighty says:

funny you choose Pharrel as an example… the guy who just lost millions for straight up jacking a Marvin Gaye song

    3. cmonhomiewemajor says:

what do you think dre will say? hes gonna say the same shit hes been saying for the past 15 years

“its comin…we workin on it..its just not where i want it to be right now”

  13. CASH says:

    Where is Detox Dre?

  14. chrisduece1 says:

August 14th isn’t coming fast enough
