I’m completely infatuated with ASAP Rocky’s fashion sense. I love his style, and that’s why he’s one of my favorite rappers.

    1. Donn says:

What does fashion sense have to do with rapping?

  5. Guest says:

KENDRICK’S NEW ABLUM IS MAD FUCKING BORING!!!! THANK GAWD WE STILL HAVE GKMC!!!!

    1. Shock says:

Boring only if you don’t get the message or follow his metaphors or how cohesive the album is

      1. Upheaval says:

So an album can’t be cohesive, filled with ‘messages’ and still be avergae/bad?

        1. Shock says:

And as lyrical as this? NAh

          1. Upheaval says:

I didn’t find the album to be particularly lyrical.

To me, it’s the worst K.dot has rapped since I started listening to him (Kendrick Lamar EP).

To my ears, there was a lack of wit, wordplay, clever imagery etc. Also thought he expressed some of his ideas sloppily.

          2. Shock says:

Wtf? His imagery was unbelievable…every song has several layers, double and triple entendres, etc. Gkmc was an album for the masses, tpab is an album for the deep thinkers and the philosophers.

          3. Upheaval says:

            LOL. Alright bro.

            That’s where you lost me

        2. hilroycahier says:

It’s rare that a album with it’s cohesiveness is bad or average…typically what makes an album bad or average is often a lack of cohesion.

          1. Upheaval says:

            Ehhh.

I think more often than not, bad/run-of-the-mill songwriting is what brings down albums.

And that’s my chief complaint with this Kendrick LP.

          2. hilroycahier says:

It’s definitely a combo of things for sure.

The reason I truly respect this album as much as I do besides some good tracks and the album been well put together and thought out, what I likes the most is what I believe most people are missing. in my opinion he made an album that he felted obligated or even guilty to make. I sense that in his vibe and words. It’s almost like he just needs to do what’s right for him and for what he believes is right for others. That’s extremely mature to me and that’s why I really think this album is really great.

          3. Upheaval says:

‘in my opinion he made an album he felt obligated to make. I sense that in the vibe and words’

I agree completely but I don’t view that positively.

In my opinion, this made the album’s messages feel contrived/forced. Like he was going out of his way to pander to his audience without offering any interesting or unique insight.

To each his own though. At least we can disagree in a civil manner.

      2. duke334 says:

The guest does have a point. I really love Kendrick new album but it is quite boring. After 2 weeks of listening to it I really never cared much after that. Not taking away from the great message & production he had on there but that’s one of those albums you don’t really play everywhere.

        1. Shock says:

Boring? I just don’t get it….how can something that challenges you to think be boring?

          1. duke334 says:

Because after it teaches you that then what? It’s nothing really there to grab you in more. Usually the albums that are the most important get forgotten over the time if it doesn’t get you hyped. & that goes for all ages who listen to music

          2. Guest says:

            EXACTLY!!!!!!!! THIS GUY GETS IT!!

      3. Guest says:

M A D BORING! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to decipher his “message” it’s the fact that this is basically a jazz album! Shit put me to sleep! I waited 3 yrs for this and what a let down. GKMC is my favorite album of all time but this…..

        1. Shock says:

          Break down the album then

  6. Guest says:

This niggas is a sissified clown

  7. Patrick Townes says:

    1. Tony Yayo's Yayo says:

i think the first was a mixtape
