Couple months back everybody on RR was screaming they forcing her down their throats…. And why they keep posting her shit?
Is she still being forced on us or is she dope enough to be recognized yet?
I know some of you don’t see talent easily, so I’m just wondering how you all feeling now cause if I’m not mistaken, she has had the dopest XXL freshman freestyle so far this year.
Any debate?
She been dropping mixtapes since 2012 & RR ain’t give two fucks about them. She gets the Timbaland, Breakfast club co sign & all of a sudden she’s the hottest new female out? When there’s other unsigned females that spit better than her that don’t even get mentioned. Wake up homey!!! (Industry plant) Oh and goldlink def had the best freestyle so far. I don’t even know how that’s up for debate. Then Vince then Tink.
RR doesn’t support anything underground. 2dbz does a good job of balancing both industry shit and underground shit but RR is str8 industry ish. 80-90% of what they post they get paid to post or something.
The funny thing to me is that you highlighted the EXACT couple things she did but she is an industry plant?
To say she is an industry plant is far-fetched. Young Thug is my example of an industry plant, somebody that the industry and the powers that be would love for us to follow behind.
Tink had a couple songs posted on ALL hip hop sites, a Timbaland co-sign and a breakfast club interview.
Outside of the Timbaland co-sign, all those things u can pretty much buy with the right management and marketing budget.
As long as the music is good enough to generate and sustain that attention then cool. Her music happens to be good enough to warrant the attention.
Are there better unsigned female mc’s? Probably. Just like there are better unsigned male mc’s out there than what we hear on the radio daily.
But compare Tink to the other female mc’s they giving attention right now and I think she is a welcomed addition. In fact I believe other mc’s male and female should be afraid.
The bars with the singing and a little bit of consciousness to her? On some hiphop shit, I’m anxiously waiting to see what is to come.
