I’m a huge Drake fan and I think Take Care was a classic but I really hope Drake goes a different direction for Views From The 6. Let’s hear more about Toronto actually stands for Drizzy. For the last 2 years it’s been the same repetitive material :
    “I’m the best”
    “Everyone is a snake”
“I love these females but my life won’t let me be with them”
“I’m sad about it but I keep it moving”

Hopefully this album changes my mind.

I’m not a Drake fan, but his formula works. I don’t see it changing anytime soon. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

      1. Nwokeofe Odumegwu says:

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, but is that all there really is to Drake? I’m a fan but if this is another IYRTITL I’ll be highly disappointed

        1. Kris Kompute says:

You can only take what people show you. In my mind, dude can’t peel back the layers like Cole and Kendrick so that’s why I’m not a fan.

I stopped putting my expectations on artist’s talent a long time ago.

    2. Cartune says:

Yeah, I kinda feel you to be honest, Young Money is nothing but a handful of one trick ponies in my opinion.

Something I’ve noticed recently though is Drake makes a lot of ‘for the moment music,’ like, his last mixtape for example… No one gives a fxck about it anymore. I thought that tape was soooo dope when I first heard it but after about 2 weeks it just became meh to me.

      1. Sprite Lee says:

go listen to it now, bet you’ll think it’s dope again.

        1. Nwokeofe Odumegwu says:

Nahh, it doesn’t stand the test of time and this is coming from a Drake fan. It’s good music from time to time but what is Drake really about?

      2. jaja420 says:

IFYRTITL actually has crazy replay value idk what your talking about I hear one song from that tape at least 3 times a day coming from someones car

      3. Nwokeofe Odumegwu says:

I completely agree, like where is the substance? Take Care was a great emotional album but other than that it’s the same repetitive stuff, it’s gets old

        1. KAM NEVA AGAIN says:

“Say Something” with Timberland was the only song i really like from him, I think him and Timberland’s sound blend really well. It got much love in the hood, everybody was bumping that, LOL!

I would have to disagree with you on that, no album that came out this year has more replay value than If youre reading this. Not to start a Drake and Kendrick debate because I love them both, but IFYRTITL has way more replay value than TPAB. I still bump IFYRTITL from start to finish this day and love it, but I can’t do the same for TPAB. I only bump Momma, hood politics and Institutionalized and the occasional Mortal man when I listen to TPAB…. Lyrically IFYRTITL is not Drake’s best except when he goes on his 6pm tirade in New York, but it is still a very good listen. Honestly I feel all of Drake’s album have crazy replay value cause I still bump NWTS, Take care and so far gone and get really surprised about how sonically amazing they still are…. 40 is a beast.. Sidenote: Momma is the best song to come out this year

        1. Iamstillmusic says:

Drake has great production which makes his music easy to listen to but I think the point Nwokeofe was tryna make was Drake really doesn’t have anything new to say anymore. What does Drake really stand for?

drake always says his best album is his next album so if thats the case vft6 will be a classic. that being said am i the only person that liked nwts more then take care?

    1. veesky says:

I have high hopes for vft6 because personally I was disappointed by nwts. I enjoyed “Take Care” way more and felt it had more replay value.

      1. Dat Nigga Conker says:

i liked both but take care was more singing then rapping too many ballads, nwts has dope rap tracks like the language,i love every song there except 305 to my city.

    2. Kris Kompute says:

      What artist doesn’t say that?

…….at least I hope so lol.

I’m expecting thumping album, and I hope that’s what we get. Drake you owe me for actually paying for “If You’re Reading this….”
