You will be surprised how aesthetics influence someone’s opinion. Obviously not a true or hardcore fan, but people with a passing interest could be affected by it.
The college dropout is a whack ass corny cover that gives no insight on who Kanye is accept that he went to school. Those aesthetics don’t apply to music unless it’s in video form.
I actually think that cover is classic
The point was it would give it a bad look “marketing” wise. It wouldn’t be the first time covers or titles has hurt the advertising of an album. Perfect example would be Nas with the N*gger album which had to be changed. I’m not saying it will automatically hurt the sales but it could!
