K.R.I.T. gotta step it up. He always makes great mixtape shit but he still hasn’t made that classic album yet. Live from the Underground and Cadillactica were just OK at best!

    1. Kris Kompute says:

Agreed. Stop dropping mixtapes all together and just drop albums with heat.

      1. Faceless Hustlers says:

He puts the album material on the mixtapes lol

        1. truth says:

i feel bad when artists have to do that. it’s like the label pushes their releases back, but they need to keep their relevance. i think the game ended up going through that with a number of the songs that were on the purp and patron mixtapes, and his brake lights or red lights mixtape (not sure of the title) with dj skee. but the point is, if you look at the r.e.d. album and the tracks on there and compare them to some of the tracks on the purp and patron tapes, there could have been a better sequence of songs put together for an album and i think often times the label forces the artists’ hands…

          1. Faceless Hustlers says:

You hit right on the nail. Interscope is a plantation just like Def Jam. Game is independent now and you see the song Doc 2/2.5 (especially 2.5) Interscope definitely wouldn’t have greenlighted those songs they’re too street!

      2. Melissa Adam says:

Almost a year ago when I quit my old job , I was very depressed in that situation than I get introduced to following job opportunity online which saved me … I feel blessed for that …. They offer online home based work. Last paycheck after being on this job for them for three months was 7,000 dollars ….

Ø Cool fact about the job is that the only requirement for being able to start is basic keyboard operating and internet facility ….

Ø To know more about it copy the site from name or open my acc0unt …

He releases a FREE Mixtape With Borderline Great Music ALL THE TIME, He Releases Store Albums That You Have To Pay For With Less Then HIS Standard of Music EVERY NOW and THEN and You Are Complaining? I Don’t Get It

        1. Kris Kompute says:

Mixtapes build you buzz, Albums cement your place in the hip-hop hierarchy. He’s too talented to not be in the convo.

For signed artists, a mixtape is a cop out or a marketing ploy. There is a reason the best stop putting out mixtapes after they have studio album success. Mixtape songs ain’t charting on billboard. If he wanna just drop mixtapes, go independent and keep all the paper.

    2. reWHITEhistory_MLK says:

Hard to get samples cleared for albums.

      1. Kris Kompute says:

He’s signed to a major label. His peers (Cole, Kendrick, Drake, Wale, Lupe) don’t seem to have that problem. They all make better albums.

        1. reWHITEhistory_MLK says:

That’s subjective I may feel his albums are better than those artist. Also I was responding to the statement of him making better mixtapes than albums in a interview I recall he stated some fans prefer his mixtapes to albums and he associated that with sample clearances.

        2. Skeem1 says:

All the artist you mentioned have had/have radio hitz! Krit isn’t that type of artist …. Theres a difference.

          1. Kris Kompute says:

Country shit was on the radio and was remixed by a huge radio artist in Luda. Your excuses are null and void. His albums are subpar.

          2. Skeem1 says:

Lol that shit was not on the radio foh. Luda ?! NIGGA hasn’t been on the radio in years he’s also irrelevant musically ur excuses are null and void….

          3. Skeem1 says:

Just because it was released to the radio doesn’t mean it had an impact and it most definitely wasn’t a hit record maybe on the internet it was .

          4. Kris Kompute says:

“Lol that shit was not on the radio foh”- You

          5. Country shit WAS on the radio in 2011. trust me.
and i think you guys are arguing over the same thing…?
either way, KRIT makes good underground music… that’s about it.

          6. Skeem1 says:

            Yea with little impact tho.

  8. Cartune says:

Heh, I wonder how many people caught the sample he used from Luda’s “Catch Up” on “Shakeem Off”… Cool tape, I’ve heard better from Krizzle, I can ride to this though.

  9. Sonic says:

This nigga sounds like all of the other terrible, washed up rappers such as Goodie Mob, Scarface and Outkast. The beats are rather bland the hooks are certainly weak. The actual lyrics aren’t terrible but he doesn’t put enough emotion into the verses. I could not listen to any of these songs more than once without listening to some better rappers first. All of the songs sound the same.

    1. Guest says:

Hey @youngsonic212 the jig is up! You’re not even from the US? And up-voting your comments with this and the “300 Entertainment” account is a bit of a reach just to appear atop of the comment sections! You actually up-vote with your “Sonic” account and then re-sign in under your “300 Entertainment” account for the second up-vote? What a sociopath

    2. Guest says:

With that weird ass Japanese Twitter account?! We’ll eventually catch you slippin’ online and expose the shit of you. Peter make all of your bogus accounts private

        1. Guest says:

You know! Those two up-votes are yours @youngsonic212!

        2. Emma Nichols says:

I am a student and a year ago there was a time when I find it difficult to pay all my fees and expenses without doing anything or doing jobs that need a great deal of time at the expense of my precious study hour …. This is also the dilemma with house wives …. It is difficult to find some time in routine for some job … One of my friends introduced me a kind of online job that I was able to do in my free time and I could earn some good money …. First it felt difficult but with time I get used to it and now I am capable of making more 65-85 d0llars per hour …. Only normal keyboard knowledge and a connection to net was …. I am placing this opportunity for you guys . It may help you guys to stand up and fulfill your dreams as this did in my case ….
