It’s a shame that now gangbangers got to stand up for the victimized citizens. And you know what make this so sad and ironic? None of the victims were in gangs.

  9. Qaadiru Rashaad says:

these brothers like they’re playing a role in a movie or something. smh Snoop and Game with the loc’s and snoop trying to look like he was back in “Nothing But A G Thang” video. this shit sometimes just is extremely comical and hypocritical. they made more records about violence, killing etc… and they’re leading a peace march. Now don’t get me wrong. It’s a step but when it feels like a marketing ploy the message and moment are lost in the bullshit! Not saying that people don’t grow, evolve or change or have the ability or capacity to change but these brothers do all that and go back to doing the same bullshit on record, especially Game, who should show to the public more, especially on record when the time fits how much he loves fatherhood or how good a father he is. Seeing Game with his kids on social media is inspiring not the fake gang banging shit! Seeing him as a young brother embrace fatherhood now thats honorable not the extra shit he do.

      Nailed it.

    3. marty mcfly says:

They made records like that because they were trying to make it. Young Snoop was 17 so he took his chances rapping and Game was recovering from being shot multiple times in his early 20s when he decided to start rappin. I say that to say they background is why they records sound the way they do. That and because fans of Hip Hop support “keeping it real” so rappers supply that demand because the fans want such content. Snoop and Game both have made positive records, fans tend to want the more aggressive shit. As far as a marketing ploy? I doubt it, I think they probably mean what they saying. Talking peace with police never been good marketing for gangsta rappers. I don’t think neither Snoop or Game is faking. The reality of it is, people have the potential to move on both sides of the coin. War & Peace.

      1. TUMBLEWEEDS says:

        *crickets*

  10. marty mcfly says:

I can’t support this because I never see police or white people putting out statements saying they wanna show concern for black people?

They never say you know all the shooting and killing we do really hurts us?

They never say anything about contributing to destruction or humanity.

Black people have an EXTREME high since of righteousness and spirituality. This is made clear the moment you bring up Jesus, or their is also scientific and cultural aspects that show alot of black people really be one some spiritual vibration stuff if you really know them BUT, other people do NOT resonate on the same wave black people do.

Black people have to STOP talking about how much peace they want in terms of address violence and murders committed by police, stop talking about how you don’t wanna see police get hurt? Do you see them putting messages out there like that to you? Fuck no. Why? Because it really doesn’t pay to let the other side know where your at mentally and spiritually. Black people think they reaching some kinda ground by doing this? There not, they simply letting police know how fast black people are willing to forgive, live and let live, turn the other cheek and just lay down and accept another full court press by police only a day after some shit happens.

I respect Snoop and peace to Game to but black people get very very very little from making statements of love directed at police publically.

    1. marty mcfly says:

Just to add on…. In 48 hours after the REVOLUTIONARY ACT by Micah X Johnson, several police departments around the country are considering community out reach and trying to bridge the gap in race relations in a more positive way in black communities. At least thats what some of them are saying but I say that to say by applying FORCE its police considering a change in how they act, its news reporters breaking down crying on the air and its media outlets putting our more stories finally admitting that the steady stream of unjust killing of black people is indeed and injustice.

Potentially by killing some of them, Micah X Johnson has police around the country taken their actions into consideration and taking their conduct more seriously because of one ACT of FIGHTING BACK, faster then YEARS worth of marching and protesting have made them consider it…

Black Lives Matter can’t just beg other people to respect black peoples right to live and right to fair justice and law conduct on behalf of cops. Thats gotta be FORCED upon them and I been saying for a long time that a display of deadly force directed back at police would make them think a little differently about how they act towards black people and I may have been right. People said nah that a just make police more aggressive? My response is nobody really wants to die and that overall a show of force in fighting back for a change would make them a bit more cautious in how they treat black people in general and I believe that very well may be the case. At least for the time being…

Black folks don’t need to be extending the olive branch, just go about your everyday business and let them deal with their nerves now and the realization that on Thursday niggas may have been woke up once they realized police are not invincible.

Peace (thats actually what I’d prefer but…)
