On Saturday, Drake’s Summer Sixteen tour stopped in Kansas City. At the close of the show, he told the crowd, “When I work on his new mixtape” he’ll return to the city to perform it. Considering the commercial success of VIEWS, it would interesting if we saw the return of “Mixtape Drake” before the end of the year. But then again, it could be just lip service.

He’ll goodly give him a few bars on the mixtape somewhere. Show that this mixtape will sell, and ppl will be singing those songs. I assume that’s what he would do, that’s what I would do if I was him. Flex his economic muscle on him. It’s really the only play I see from Drake at the moment.
