New Music: Wale “Groundhog Day”

No Love Lost

Wale feels some type of way. Assuming the second verse of J.Cole’s “False Prophets” was directed at him, Wale responds with some impressive bars over Jake One production. Ambiguity be damned.

UPDATE: See you at the game, bro.

If you’re going to refute a claim then you need to give a plausible hypothesis.

So the donkey wasn’t on all fours getting his buttyhole tampered with? How did he do it then?

Reverse psychology isn’t going to work today.

    1. Savimbi says:

What the fuck are you talking about you imbecile!!!!

      1. el jim chapo guzman says:

J Cole second verse was directed at wale

        1. sotrueeeeeeeee says:

Nah thats at Drake dude. Wale just needs to be relevant again so he is trying to make it about him. Another coon tactic to try and remain relevant in the rap game which doesn’t respect him and never has nor will.

          1. el jim chapo guzman says:

Overall it’s jay z talking through j Cole though.

          2. MassConglom says:

2nd verse is at Wale homie, Drake most def ain’t bitter about his success.

  5. Mec-One says:

Dude still crying out for recognition

    1. Kris Kompute says:

Naw, him and Cole orchestrated this.

      1. Mec-One says:

Doubt it cause Cole not on the fvck shlt ……..

        1. Kris Kompute says:

It’s not fuck shit. It’s throwing your boy a lob in this meme heavy, beef-salivating world. Never said his name once, wasn’t disrespectful, Wale had a “response” in less than 24 hours and then they went to a basketball game together.

All of Cole’s fans went to click on Wale’a track to see what was said. In turn, they heard a quality song.

Shit is marketing. Only niggas that spell fuck with a V wouldn’t understand.

          1. kidsthesedays says:

THis is about drake. Wale is trying to make it about himself to try and stay relevant. In a world where his raps nobodyyyyyyyyy cares about. Because he raps about nothing, which he is prideful in.

          2. Kris Kompute says:

            This is Drake?

By all the legends, so every time I see him, he stressin’
/Talkin’ ’bout, niggas don’t fuck with him, the shit is depressin

Drake is stressing about his place in the rap game? Right.

Stupid crackers always making up their own stories, smh.

          3. Mec-One says:

Get out ya feelings chump. Wale may need some marketing gimmicks but Cole doesn’t ….. foh

          4. Kris Kompute says:

where did I say Cole needed help? Quit suckin niggas dicks. Bitch ass niggas stay defending mfs they don’t know.

          5. Mec-One says:

What happened b, Kmart sold out of the wale onesie …… you mad af ……. big crybaby like wale …… smh ….. kys

          6. MassConglom says:

“Only niggas that spell fuck with a V wouldn’t understand” lol. I can’t stand these #HipsterFingers types either.

  6. Santigo says:

Wale’s music has no replay value…another Millennial Rapper who wouldn’t have even been good enough to get a record deal in the 90s.

    1. polopolo1 says:

Good thing it’s not the 90s

      1. aaaaa says:

No, its not. Its a bad thing. We got acts like Wale and Rick Ross being touted as something real. Both are on off one listen types. Shit gets no replay. Im sure this song is about money and how he is under appreciated in rap. I dont even need to listen to trash like this.

    2. since he signed to maybach.. agreed. but that does not go for all his music.
      dont get it twisted now

  7. Scromes1212 says:

Mean!!! This was a subtle shot. Cole might not get in go mode just yet.

    1. Kris Kompute says:

No beef. They went to a basketball game together after Wale dropped this.

      1. Scromes1212 says:

Yeah you can tell this came from a good place. He had to say something back. It’s all hip-hop.

  11. WALE STILL WATCHES WWE says:

You can tell young Whoopi feels some type of way about having to settle for a deal with the fake Rick Ross and his team of lames while his peers all signed to multiplatinum selling legends. Think about it ..Cole got with Jay, Kendrick got with Dre, Sean got with Ye and Drake got with Weezy. No wonder he don’t get the respect they do.

    1. damn dont like the young whoopi reference, but thats truth

      1. bettyjfuentes says:

It’s been one yr since I finally abandoned my previous job and I never felt this good… I started working from my house, for this company I stumbled upon on-line, few hrs every day, and I profit now much more than i did on my last job… My paycheck for last month was for Nine thousand dollars… Awesome thing about this is that now i have more time with my kids… http://urlin.it/143f7e

  14. BIG Syke says:

2Pac‘s close friend and collaborator Big Syke is dead at the age of 48. According to TMZ, Tyruss Himes was found dead at his home in Hawthorne, Calif. on Monday night (Dec. 5).

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that police responded first to a call to the home, and then the Los Angeles County Coroner arrived. No foul play is suspected in Big Syke’s death, as sources “close to the situation” tell TMZ that it’s likely he died of natural causes, and he’s had a history of heart issues and obesity. However, an autopsy is still to be performed.

Big Syke was a member of 2Pac’s Thug Life crew, and then he went on to become one of the original 10 members of the Outlawz. He collaborated on classic tracks with Pac including “All Eyez on Me,” “Check Out Time,” “When We Ride” and “Picture Me Rollin.” When he was with the Outlawz, Big Syke went by the moniker Moozaliny, while Pac entered his Makaveli stage.

Prior to his work with Pac, Syke was in a rap group called Evil Mind Gangstas with MCs Domino and Mental Illness. They formed the group in 1990, and the year after, Pac dropped his debut album 2Pacalypse Now, which was released on vinyl last month.

You can check out a Instagram photo of Syke and Pac above together at Clinton Penitentiary. Additionally, you can view a YouTube video of Syke speaking about Shakur in-depth.
