New Album: Big K.R.I.T. ‘4Eva Is A Mighty Long Time’

4Eva, Eva

A release project from Big K.R.I.T. itself seems like a mighty long time. Since breaking ties with Def Jam and now rolling independent, the Mississippi rapper makes up for lost time with his double-disc project. Letting the “Confetti” drop when he first announced the third album, King Remembered In Time did his dance (“Keep The Devil Off“) but still kept it raw (“Aux Cord“). At a whopping 22 tracks, contributors include T.I., Cee-Lo Green, Sleepy Brown, Jill Scott, Lloyd, Joi and more. It’s ’bout time.

On first listen this is pretty dope. Think he could have cut it to like 14 songs but it’s still a cool project. You can hear that organized noize sound in the production. In my opinion the second album is better. Drinking sessions is tough! Proud of this brother for going independent. Salute
