New Album: Nas ‘The Lost Tapes 2’

Escobar season has returned.

Better late than never, Nas has finally release his long-awaited and highly-anticipated project, The Lost Tapes 2.

Serving as the follow-up to his 2002 classic, the sequel has been in the talks and works for almost a decade. Announced just over a month ago (June 11), the compilation of unreleased tracks were recorded and stashed in the vault presumably for the past 12 years.

On the jazz-infused “Jarreau of Rap (Skatt Attack)” with Al Jarreau and Keyon Harrold, Nasir highlights his longevity in the rap for his naysayers. The 16 tracks overall boasts production from Swizz Beatz, Pharrell Williams, Statik Selektah, RZA, Hit-Boy, Pete Rock, The Alchemist, No I.D., Kanye West, DJ Toomp and more. Get your tape decks ready, volume 3 and 4 are possibly on the way. Esco, lets go!
