Jay-Z is about to make huge play in the NFL. It was revealed today (August 16), the music mogul is on the verge in a stake with part ownership for a team in the National Football League.
Sources connected to the rapper say that Shawn Carter is looking at a “significant ownership interest” in a team. It is unclear on how much and for what team.
On Wednesday (August 14), Jay and the NFL officially announced their partnership, where his Roc Nation entertainment company will spearhead the the league’s live music entertainment including the Super Bowl halftime show, and assist their social justice program, Inspire Change.
